HD Radio On/Off
In the radio screen Ü Press the MENU
key Ü Select
HD Radio .
You can select HD Radio from the menu
and listen to HD Radio Broadcasts.
HD Radio may differ depending on the
system.
Changing HD Radio stations
Turn the controller ( TUNE knob) left/
right to select the desired HD Radio sta-
tion. If HD Radio stations do not exist, fre-
quencies will be searched manually.

!ŸHD Radio Technology is a digital radio
technology used by AM and FM radio sta-
tions to transmit audio and data via a digi-
tal signal in conjunction with their analog
signals.
!ŸWhile listening to the radio, the HD Radio
icon will become displayed if receiving an
HD Radio broadcast.

Tagging a song playing on HD Radio
Maximum 50 song can be tagged.
When the iPod is connected to system,
Automatically tagging information are
downloaded to the iPod.
The song tagging feature provides a way to
capture broadcasted song information from
the radio for future purchase in iTunes.
Upon connection of an Apple audio play-
back device, the "tagged songs" will be
transferred to your iTunes account in your
Tagged songs folder.

HD RadioTM Technology

Program Service Data :
Contributes to the superior user experience of HD Radio Technology. Presents song name,
artist, station IDs, HD2/HD3 Channel Guide, and other relevant data streams.

Adjacent to traditional main stations are extra local FM channels. These HD2/HD3 Channels
provide new, original music as well as deep cuts into traditional genre.

Digital, CD-quality sound. HD Radio Technology enables local radio stations to broadcast a
clean digital signal. AM sounds like today’s FM and FM sounds like a CD.
iTunes® Tagging provides you the opportunity to discover a wide range of content and the
means to “tag” that content for later review and purchase from the iTunes® Store. Also refer
to the Apple Automotive specifications for implementing iTunes® Tagging.

!ŸWhen playing a dual-layer disc, video/
sound lags may occur for up to several
seconds. Such phenomena are not
unusual when using a dual-layer disc
and do not signal a product malfunction.

guarantees or discs over 650mb may not
be properly recognized by the device.
