When installing a container of liquid air freshener inside the vehicle, do not place it near theinstrument cluster nor on the instrument panel pad surface. If there is any leakage from the air freshener onto these areas (Instrument cluster, instrument panel pad or air ventilator), it may damage these parts. FRONT FOG INDICATOR LIGHT
Front fog indicator light comes on when- ever the fog light switch is on. B260G01A-AAT LOW OIL PRESSURE WARNING LIGHT CAUTION:
If the oil pressure warning light stays on while the engine is run- ning, serious engine damage mayresult. The oil pressure warninglight comes on whenever there isinsufficient oil pressure. In normal operation, it should come on when the ignition switch is turned on,then go out when the engine isstarted. If the oil pressure warninglight stays on while the engine isrunning, there is a serious malfunc- tion. If this happens, stop the car assoon as it is safe to do so, turn offthe engine and check the oil level. Ifthe oil level is low, fill the engine oil to the proper level and start the engine again. If the light stays on with the engine running, turn theengine off immediately. In any in-stance where the oil light stays onwhen the engine is running, theengine should be checked by an authorized Hyundai dealer before the car is driven again.

PARKING BRAKE/ LOW BRAKE FLUID
LEVEL WARNING LIGHT
WARNING:
If you suspect brake trouble, have your brakes checked by a Hyundai dealer as soon as possible. Drivingyour car with a problem in either thebrake electrical system or brakehydraulic system is dangerous, andcould result in a serious injury or death. Warning Light Operation The parking brake/brake fluid level warning light should come on when theparking brake is applied and the igni-tion switch is turned to "ON" or"START". After the engine is started, the light should go out when the park- ing brake is released.If the parking brake is not applied, thewarning light should come on for about3 seconds when the ignition switch isturned to "ON", and then go out. If the light comes on at any other time, you should slow the vehicle and bring it toa complete stop in a safe location offthe roadway.The brake fluid level warning light indi-cates that the brake fluid level in the brake master cylinder is low and hy- draulic brake fluid conforming to DOT3 or DOT 4 specifications should beadded. After adding fluid, if no othertrouble is found, the car should beimmediately and carefully driven to a Hyundai dealer for inspection. If fur- ther trouble is experienced, the vehicleshould not be driven at all but taken toa dealer by a professional towing ser-vice or some other safe method.

First distance you have trav- eled from your originationpoint to a first destination.
TRIP B: Second distance from the firstdestination to the final desti-nation.
To shift from TRIP A to TRIP B, pressthe reset switch. When pressed for 1second, it will reset to 0.

To turn on the rear fog lights, push the switch. They will come on when theheadlight switch is in the second posi-tion and the key is in the "ON" position.
B340A01A-AAT COMBINATION TURN SIGNAL, HEADLIGHT AND HIGH-BEAMSWITCH Turn Signal Operation Pulling down on the lever causes the turn signals on the left side of the car toblink. Pushing upwards on the lever causes the turn signals on the right side of the car to blink. As the turn iscompleted, the lever will automaticallyreturn to the center position and turnoff the turn signals at the same time. Ifeither turn signal indicator light blinks more rapidly than usual, goes on but does not blink, or does not go on at all,there is a malfunction in the system.Check for a burned-out fuse or bulb orsee your Hyundai dealer. B340B01A-AAT Lane Change Signal To indicate a lane change, move the lever up or down to a point where itbegins flashing.The lever will automatically return to the center position when released.

B340C02E-AAT Headlight Switch To operate the headlights, turn the barrel on the end of the multi-functionswitch. The first position turns on the
parking lights, sidelights, tail lights and instrument panel lights. The second position turns on the headlights. NOTE: The ignition must be in the "ON" position to turn on the headlights. Parking light auto cut If you do not turn the parking lights "OFF" after driving, the parking lights will automatically shut "OFF" when the driver's door is opened. HHP267

o To prevent interior fog on the wind-
shield, set the air intake control to the fresh air ( ) position and fanspeed to the desired position.
B740A01S-AAT AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM Air Conditioning Switch The air conditioning is turned on or off by pushing the A/C button on the heat-ing/air conditioning control panel. B670C03L
To use the air conditioning to cool theinterior:
o Set the side vent control to "OFF",
to shut off the outside air entry.
o Turn on the fan control switch.
o Turn on the air conditioning switch by pushing in on the switch. The air conditioning indicator light should come on at the same time.
o Set the air intake control to the fresh air ( ) position.

("Cool" provides maximum cooling. The temperature may be moderatedby moving the control toward"Warm".)
o Adjust the fan control to the desired
speed. For greater cooling, turn thefan control to one of the higherspeeds or temporarily select therecirculate ( ) position on the airintake control.

1. Remove the headlight assembly mounting bolts.

o You can replace the high beam(H1 or H7) and front turn signal light. The replacement instruc-tion is same with the general type's one. But you must not replace or inspect the low beam(XENON bulb). It has a danger of an electric shock. If the low beam (XENON bulb) is not working,have your vehicle inspected by your Hyundai Dealer.
WARNING:
o This halogen bulb contains gas under pressure and if impacted could shatter, resulting in flying fragments. Always wear eye pro- tection when servicing the bulb.Protect the bulb against abra- sions or scratches and against liquids when lighted. Turn thebulb on only when installing in a headlight. Replace the head- light if damaged or cracked.Keep the bulb out of the reach of children and dispose of the used bulb with care.
