ASSIST CHARGE GAUGE
The Assist Charge Gauge indicates the condition
of the electric motor. When the needle is be-
tween the center and “charge” (
1range) , this
indicates that the electric motor is generating
power to recharge the Li-ion battery.
When the needle is between the center and the
PWR side, this indicates that the electric motor is
powering the drive wheels and the Li-ion battery
is discharging.

SPEEDOMETER AND ODOMETER
Speedometer
The speedometer indicates vehicle speed.
Odometer/Twin trip odometer
The odometer1and the twin trip odometer2
are displayed below the Vehicle Information Dis-
play when the ignition switch is placed in the ON
position.
The odometer records the total distance the ve-
hicle has been driven.
The twin trip odometer records the distance of
individual trips.Changing the display
Push the TRIP RESET
3switch on the right of
the combination meter to change the display as
follows:

Resetting the trip odometer
Pushing the TRIP RESET switch
3for more
than 1 second resets the currently displayed trip
odometer to zero. Average fuel economy and distance to empty
information is also available. For additional infor-
mation, refer to “Vehicle Information Display” in
this section.
