WARNING!
Never use the PARK position on an auto-
matic transmission as a substitute for the
parking brake. Always apply the parking
brake fully when parked to guard against
vehicle movement and possible injury or
damage.
When exiting the vehicle, always remove
the key fob from the ignition and lock your
vehicle.

vehicle unattended without having the park -
ing brake fully applied. The parking brake
should always be applied when the driver is
not in the vehicle, especially on an incline.
CAUTION!
Never drive with your foot resting on the
clutch pedal, or attempt to hold the vehicle
on a hill with the clutch pedal partially
engaged, as this will cause abnormal wear
on the clutch.
Do not drive with your hand resting on the
gear selector as the force exerted, even if
slight, could lead over time to premature
wear of the gearbox internal components.

could lose their grip, and the vehicle could
skid.
CAUTION!
Skipping gears and downshifting into lower
gears at higher vehicle speeds can damage
the engine and clutch systems. Any attempt
to shift into lower gear with clutch pedal
pressed may result damage to the clutch
system. Shifting into lower gear and
releasing the clutch may result in engine
damage.

with the accelerator, brake, or clutch pedals
and cause a loss of vehicle control. To pre -
vent SERIOUS INJURY or DEATH:
ALWAYS securely attach your floor mat
using the floor mat fasteners. DO NOT
install your floor mat upside down or turn
your floor mat over. Lightly pull to confirm
mat is secured using the floor mat
fasteners on a regular basis.
ALWAYS REMOVE THE EXISTING FLOOR
MAT FROM THE VEHICLE before
installing any other floor mat. NEVER install
or stack an additional floor mat on top of an
existing floor mat.
ONLY install floor mats designed to fit your
vehicle. NEVER install a floor mat that
cannot be properly attached and secured to
your vehicle. If a floor mat needs to be
replaced, only use a FCA approved floor
mat for the specific make, model, and year
of your vehicle.

the speed.
CAUTION!
Racing the engine or spinning the wheels
may lead to transmission overheating and
failure. Allow the engine to idle with the
transmission in NEUTRAL for at least one
minute after every five rocking-motion
cycles. This will minimize overheating and
reduce the risk of clutch or transmission
failure during prolonged efforts to free a
stuck vehicle.

If operating the vehicle without carpet in
place the floor may become hot, and there
is a risk of burns.
An improperly attached, damaged, folded,
or damaged grommets may cause your
carpet to interfere with the accelerator,
brake, or clutch pedals and cause a loss of
vehicle control. To prevent SERIOUS INJURY
or DEATH: ALWAYS securely attach your
carpet using the grommets.
ALWAYS make sure objects cannot fall or
slide into the driver’s side floor area when
the vehicle is moving. Objects can become
trapped under accelerator, brake, or clutch
pedals and could cause a loss of vehicle
control.
NEVER place any objects under the carpet
(e.g., towels, keys, etc.yf7KHVHREMHFWV
could change the position of the carpet and
may cause interference with the acceler-
ator, brake, or clutch pedals.
