The indicator in the instrument clus-
ter displays the shift lever position
when the ignition switch is in the ONposition.
P (Park)
Always come to a complete stop
before shifting into P (Park).
To shift from P (Park), you must
depress firmly on the brake pedal
and make sure your foot is off the
accelerator pedal.
The shift lever must be in P (Park)
before turning the engine off.R (Reverse)
Use this position to drive the vehicle
backward.(Continued)
During the first 1,500 km (1,000 miles), you may feelthat the vehicle may not be smooth when accelerating atlow speed. During this break-in period, the shift quality and performance of your new vehi-cle is continuously optimized.
Always come to a complete stop before shifting into D(Drive) or R (Reverse).
Do not put the shift lever in N (Neutral) whilst driving.
WARNING
Shifting into P (Park) whilst the vehicle is in motion may
cause you to lose control of
the vehicle.
After the vehicle has stopped, always make sure the shift
lever is in P (Park), apply the
parking brake, and turn the
engine off.
Do not use the P (Park) posi- tion in place of the parking
brake.
CAUTION
Always come to a complete stop
before shifting into or out of R(Reverse); you may damage thetransmission if you shift into R (Reverse) whilst the vehicle is inmotion.

The system displays the information
of speed limit and no passing restric-
tion to the driver in both the instru-
ment cluster and navigation screen.
SLIF detects traffic signs with cam-
era system attached on the top of thewindscreen.
The SLIF also utilizes the navigation
information to display the speed limit
information. SPEED LIMIT INFORMATION FUNCTION (SLIF) (IF EQUIPPED)
WARNING
Speed Limit Information Function is only an aid and is
not always able to correctly
display speed limits and over-taking restrictions.
The driver always keeps the responsibility not to exceed
the maximum allowed speed
Do not place any accessories, stickers or tint the windscreen
near the rearview mirror.
The system detects traffic signs and displays speed limit
information by a camera
therefore, if traffic signs are
hard to detect, the system
may not work properly.
Please refer to "Driver's Attention".
Do not remove any LKAS parts or apply impact.
(Continued)(Continued)
Do not place objects on thedashboard that reflects light
such as mirrors, white paper,
etc. The system may malfunc-tion if the sunlight is reflected.
The system is not available in all countries.

SLIF activation / deactivation
SLIF Setting method :Cluster User Settings Driving
Assist SLIF (Speed Limit
Information Function)
The information of speed limit and no passing restriction will appear
on the cluster using a symbol if you
have activated SLIF in User
Settings of cluster.
If SLIF is activated in navigation setting, the information also dis-
played in navigation screen. Operation
If a traffic sign that is relevant to
your vehicle is passed, the system
displays the information of thespeed limits and no passing
restrictions to the driver.
When the driver turn on the igni- tion, the system displays stored
information of the speed limit
before turn off the ignition. Sometimes different speed limits
are displayed for the same road.
The information displayed depend-
ing on the situation. Because, traf-
fic signs with additional sign (e.g
rainy, arrow...) are also detected
and compared with vehicle interior
data(e.g wiper operation, turn sig-nal...).
The system can update the speed limit information without visible
speed limit signs in the following
situations.
- When you change your drivingdirection with right or left or U
turning.
- When vehicle changes roads. (e.g. from highway to countryroad…)
- When you enter or exit into town or village.

boundary of the system, a warninglight will illuminate on the outside
rearview mirror.
If the detected vehicle is not in detec-
tion range, the warning will be turned
off. The second stage alarm will activatewhen:
1. The first stage alert is on
2. The turn signal is on to change a

Driving your vehicle
Driving on grades
Reduce speed and shift to a lower
gear before you start down a long or
steep downgrade. If you don’t shift
down, you might have to use your
brakes so much that they would get
hot and no longer operate efficiently.
On a long uphill grade, shift down
and reduce your speed to around 70km/h (45 mph) to reduce the possi-
bility of engine and transaxle over-heating.
If your trailer weighs more than the
maximum trailer weight without trail-
er brakes and you have an automat-
ic transaxle / dual clutch transmis-
sion, you should drive in D (Drive)
when towing a trailer.
Operating your vehicle in D (Drive)
when towing a trailer will minimise
heat build up and extend the life of
your transaxle.CAUTION
When towing a trailer on steepgrades (in excess of 6%) payclose attention to the enginecoolant temperature gauge toensure the engine does not overheat.
If the needle of the coolanttemperature gauge movesacross the dial towards “130/H(HOT)”, pull over and stop as soon as it is safe to do so, andallow the engine to idle until itcools down. You may proceedonce the engine has cooled sufficiently.
You must decide driving speed depending on trailerweight and uphill grade toreduce the possibility of engine and transaxle over-heating.
CAUTION - Dual Clutch
Transmission
When towing a trailer on steepgrades, the clutch in the trans-mission could overheat.
When the clutch is overheated, the safe protection mode engages. If the safe protectionmode engages, the gear posi-tion indicator on the cluster blinks with a chime sound.
At this time, a warning messagewill appear on the LCD displayand driving may not be smooth.
If you ignore this warning, thedriving condition may become worse.
To return the normal drivingcondition, stop the vehicle onflat road and apply the footbrake for a few minutes before driving off.

What to do in an emergency
It is possible that some tyres, espe- cially with larger punctures or dam-
age to the sidewall, cannot be sealed
completely.
Air pressure loss in the tyre may
adversely affect tyre performance.
For this reason, you should avoid
abrupt steering or other driving
manoeuvres, especially if the vehicle
is heavily loaded or if a trailer is in use.
The TMK is not designed or intended
as a permanent tyre repair method
and is to be used for one tyre only.
This instruction shows you step by
step how to temporarily seal the
puncture simply and reliably.
Read the section "Notes on the safe
use of the TMK".0.Speed restriction label
1.Sealant bottle and label with speedrestriction
2.Filling hose from sealant bottle to wheel
3.Connectors and cable for the power outlet direct connection 4.Holder for the sealant bottle

6.On/off switch

tyre inflation pressure
OAM060015LWARNING
Do not use the TMK if a tyre is
severely damaged by drivingrun flat or with insufficient air
pressure. Only punctured areaslocated within the tread regionof the tyre can be sealed usingthe TMK.
