USB Charger Ports* B are located in the center panel and in the back of the seats B and center console.
Multimedia USB Port C: Use the Aux port to connect audio devices and the Multimedia USB port to connect USB audio devices and smartphones.
AC Inverter*: 115V/100 watt power inverters are located in the back of the center console and in the luggage zone* (See page 8 for ON/OFF button information).
REMINDERS:
•
Using the power outlets (accessor y plugs) and AC Inver ter for prolonged periods of time with the ENGINE START/STOP but ton in the ACC position (Engine OFF) may cause the bat ter y to discharge
•
Use only the charging cables that your device manufacturer supplied. Third par t y cables may cause damage to your device
•
The USB data por t (Multimedia USB por t) is located next to the Power Outlets. The USB Charger por ts do not suppor t data transfer

Digital Clock - Infotainment System
Infotainment System:
Press the SETUP key A then press GENER AL, then DATE/TIME button to display the Time and Date setting screen. Then use the onscreen buttons to adjust time and date.

1. Press AUTO B to select Full Auto Operation. The Auto setting automatically controls the air flow modes, fan speeds, air intake and air conditioning according to the temperature setting selected

Cold or warm ambient air may flow in through vents if Recirculated Air but ton is not pressed ON (LED lit)
Auto Defogging System
Auto defogging is designed to reduce the fogging up of the inside of the windshield by automatically sensing the moisture of the inside of the windshield. The system will automatically change to defrost mode when needed.
Auto Defogging is set ON by default. To cancel Auto Defogging, press the Front Defrost button for three seconds when the ignition is in on (ADS OFF icon will illuminate). To turn Auto Defogging on again, press the Front Defrost button for three seconds.
Air Flow Modes
To select Air Flow Modes, press the MODE button H to cycle through to desired mode:

•Defrost Mode activates A /C and opens Fresh Air Vent to help dehumidify the air and improve Defroster per formance
•During Auto Operation, the A /C indicator will NOT illuminate. The fan speed, air intake, air flow and air conditioning may automatically be engaged at any time to reach the desired temperature and reduce humidity
•Keep the inside glass as clean as possible to reduce window fogging

Wireless Smartphone Charging System*†2 1
Charge a Qi Certified smartphone wirelessly by placing it on the charging pad A at the front of the console, near the Multimedia USB ports and the charging indicator, while the ignition is on.
1. Enable Wireless Smartphone Charging System in the User Settings* in the Instrument Cluster LCD or the Vehicle Settings* in the infotainment system, select Convenience then Wireless Charging System
2. Place a compatible smartphone on the center of the charging pad B
3. The indicator light A may change to amber once the wireless charging begins
4. Once charging is complete, the amber light may change to green

To reduce the risk of an accident, do not activate Auto Hold while driving downhill, backing up or parking your vehicle
•
Do not solely rely on the Auto Hold system to keep the vehicle stopped. Always pay at tention to traf fic and road conditions, and be prepared to depress the brakes
•Auto Hold turns off when ignition is cycled
Electronic Parking Brake (EPB)
The Electronic Parking Brake (EPB) system utilizes an electric motor to engage the parking brake.
Applying the Parking Brake
Depress the brake pedal and pull up the EPB switch A. Ensure that the indicator light is illuminated on the instrument cluster.
Releasing the Parking Brake
The EPB will automatically release when the shifter is placed in Reverse or Drive.
To release EPB manually, depress the brake pedal and then press the EPB switch A with the ignition switch in the ON position. Ensure that the indicator light is OFF.
REMINDERS:
•
As a bulb check, the EPB malfunction indicator will illuminate for approximately 3 seconds when the ignition switch is turned ON
•
If the warning light does not illuminate temporarily, or continues to remain lit, take your vehicle to an authorized Kia dealer and have the system checked
•The EPB should not be operated while the vehicle is moving
•
A click or electric brake motor sound may be heard while operating or releasing the EPB, but these conditions are normal and indicate that the EPB is functioning properly

Auto Hold
Auto Hold temporarily maintains the vehicle at a standstill even if the brake pedal is released. Auto Hold can be turned ON/OFF using the AUTO HOLD switch B on the center panel. Before Auto Hold will operate, the driver ’s door, engine hood and trunk must be closed, and the driver ’s seat belt must be fastened.
The Auto Hold indicator has four states:
Standby (white): With vehicle in Park and at a standstill, and AUTO HOLD switch B turned ON, the indicator will illuminate white. While driving the vehicle (vehicle is not at a standstill), the Auto Hold indicator will remain white.
Engaged (green): When coming to a complete stop and depressing the brake pedal, the Auto Hold indicator changes from white to green.
OFF (not illuminated): The indicator will turn OFF when the AUTO HOLD switch B is turned OFF or when the EPB is manually turned ON.
Malfunction (yellow): When the indicator is illuminated yellow, there may be a system malfunction. Take your vehicle to a local Kia dealer.

•When leaving your keys with parking lot at tendants or valet, make sure to inform them how to operate the EPB
•If parked on a steep incline/decline, pull up the EPB switch for more than 3 seconds for a firmer EPB application
•Pull up and hold the EPB switch a second time to increase brake pressure if parked on a decline or incline

Driver Position Memory System*
The integrated system stores into memory the position of the Driver ’s Seat and the Outside Rearview Mirrors.
To store positions into memory, first place the Gear Shift into P (Park) while the Engine Start/Stop button* is in the ON position. Then:
1. Adjust the Driver ’s Seat and the Outside Rearview Mirrors
2. Press the SET button B on the control panel. System will beep once
3. Press one of the memory buttons C within 5 seconds. The system will beep twice when memory has been stored
Easy Access Function*
•The system will automatically move the driver's seat forward when the ignition or the Engine Start/Stop button is pressed to ON or the ACC position
•The system will automatically move the driver's seat rearward when the ignition or the Engine Start/Stop button is pressed to OFF
•To activate or deactivate the Easy Access Function, go to User Settings in the LCD Instrument Cluster modes

If the Seat Belt is buckled, press the release button on the buckle.
To retract the center seatbelt webbing I in the 2nd and/or 3rd rows, use the lap belt tongue plate J to push the “release button” in the small slot on the center belt buckle K.
2nd-Row VIP Seats with Relaxation Mode*†1 2
Forward/backward: Pull up on the lever A to manually move the VIP Seat forward or backward.
Inward/Outward: Pull up on the lever B to manually move the VIP Seat inward or outward. Moving the seat inward allows more space for 3rd-Row access.
Relaxation Mode
Press and hold the front auto-control button C for the VIP Seat to move into relaxation mode. The seatback angles back and the seat cushion tilts up.
Press and hold the rear auto-control button D to move the VIP seat back to its original upright position.
The buttons under the auto-control buttons move the various parts of the seat — seatback forward and backward E, tilt the entire seat F, retract or extend the leg extension G, and seat cushion height adjustment H.

Reinstalling the Seats
1. Make sure the front seats are all the way forward
2. Place and align the seat properly on the floor anchors H
3. Lower the seat and push down firmly until it clicks into place
4. Ensure the seat is latched securely by the green indicator I
5. Outboard Seats - Pull on the lever B to move the seatback to its original position
6. Center Seat - Pull up the center seatback recline straps F or E, lift the seatback backward until it locks (clicks) into place
7. Replace the headrest and return the seat belt to its proper position

Removing the Outboard Seats
1. Move the front seats forward to allow for clearance
2. Push the seat belt buckle down into the recession
3. To provide more clearance, remove the headrest by pressing the release button A and pulling up the headrest up and out of the seat
4. Pull lever B to fold the seatback flat; slide the seat forward or backward to ensure the seat is in the middle position by pulling on the lever C
5. At the rear of the seat, reach under the seat and pull the release bar D and lift the seat up out of the anchors. Remove the seat
Removing the Center Seat
1. To provide more clearance, remove the headrest by pressing the release button A and pulling up the headrest up and out of the seat
2.
At the rear of the center seat, pull on the center seat left strap E to slide the seat forward
3. To fold the seatback flat, pull on the strap F on the front of the seat
4. Pull on the bottom center strap G to
release the seat and tumble forward. Remove the seat
