vacuum pump pipe to the chassis.
• Assemble the front and central cooling circuit pipes (012105).
• Assemble the propeller shaft (030705).
• Assemble the front differential  .
• Assemble the front bumper (080705).
• Assemble the battery  .
• Assemble the luggage compartment tray  .
•  $VVHPEOHWKHIURQWDQGFHQWUHYHKLFOHÀRRUV (082505).
• Assemble the front wheel arches (082105).
• Assemble the front tyres  .
• Fill the power steering oil circuit (042308).

Disassembling the power steering pump

1. Loosen the screw ( A-Fig.1) fastening the power steering circuit delivery pipe clamp to the chassis.
2 . Loosen the screw ( B-Fig.2) and extract the delivery pipe ( C-Fig.2) from the power steering pump.
3 . Cut the clamp ( D-Fig.2) and extract the power steering oil return pipe ( E-Fig.2) from the pump.
4  /RRVHQWKH¿[LQJVFUHZV F-Fig.2) securing the pump to the engine.
5 . Remove the power steering pump ( G-Fig.2).

Assembling the power steering pump 1. Position the power steering pump ( G-Fig.3) in its housing.
2.  7LJKWHQWKH¿[LQJVFUHZV H-Fig.3) securing the pump to the engine.
Screw attachment: tightening torque ( E).

If worn, replace the gasket on the delivery pipe.
3. Position the delivery pipe ( I-Fig.3) on the power steering pump and tighten the corresponding screw ( J-Fig.3).
Screw attachment: WLJKWHQLQJWRUTXH G 
4. Install a new clamp ( K-Fig.3) on the power steering circuit return pipe ( L-Fig.3) and tighten the clamp to fasten
the pipe to the pump.
5. Tighten the screw ( M-Fig.4) fastening the power steering circuit delivery pipe clamp to the chassis.
$IWHUDVVHPEOLQJ¿OOFRPSOHWHO\ZLWKRLO  VWDUWWKHHQJLQHDQGPRYHWKHVWHHULQJZKHHO times to the right and left to drain the system.
• Assemble the rear left wheel  .

• Top up the oil level.

• Move the steering wheel as far as it will go both right and left.
• Check the power steering tank level, and top up if necessary.

Camber
This is the wheel’s camber with respect to a plane perpendicular to the ground (
Fig.1). The camber may be positive
(the vehicle’s wheels are “open” toward the top) or negative (the wheels appear open toward the bottom). The
camber affects roadholding and driving comfort. The adjustment values were designed to obtain the best compromise between roadholding and comfort. Strut caster
This is the angle that forms the steering axis of the wheel projected on the longitudinal vertical plane with respect to
the transversal vertical plane passing through the wheel axle ( Fig.2). When this angle is positive the steering axis
meets the ground in front of the vertical axis; momentum is therefore created that tends to realign the wheels.
Toe-in
This is the angle formed between the equatorial planes of the wheels of an axle and the vertical-longitudinal plane
passing through the middle of the vehicle ( Fig.3). The angle is positive when the directions of the two wheels
converge at a point in front of the vehicle. It is negative when the point of convergence is behind the vehicle. In order
to improve vehicle stability, the toe-in of the wheels is kept positive.

without disconnecting it from the hydraulic system.
2. Release the parking brake calliper ( C-Fig.2) from the hub housing by loosening the two corresponding screws
( D-Fig.2 ) without disconnecting it from the hydraulic system.
