To connect the Lamborghini VAS PC software to the vehicle, it is necessary to use the VAS 5054 diagnosis interface code: 69190203 ( A-Fig. 37).
This interface can be used via Bluetooth connection ( B-Fig.37) or by simply using the USB connector ( &)LJ)
inside the package ( ')LJ).

The VAS5054 interface will operate correctly only if the previous setting has been performed correctly.
The VAS 5054 also works via Bluetooth connection. The new Panasonic laptops are already equipped with
a compatible Bluetooth. If your laptop does not have it, it is possible to order a Bluetooth USB stick (code 69190204).
To connect the VAS5054 interface using the Bluetooth, it is in any case necessary to power it by connecting it to the OBD outlet in the vehicle.

The Kenwood multimedia system include the navigation and the Bluetooth functions. If the car is equipped
with the Bluetooth optional as original equipment, the Bluetooth ECU has to be removed from the car because it will be not useful with the new Kenwood multimedia system.
The Kenwood multimedia system include the iPod and USB connections; these connections completely replace the original ones that are present in the car if it is equipped with these optional. If the car has the
CD-Changer, this element has to be removed because it is incompatible with the new multimedia system.

In order to install the Kenwood multimedia system it’s necessary to replace the original multimedia harness
of the car with the new one supplied with the kit. The new multimedia harness has to be installed as the
original one was positioned in the car; the main difference between the two harness is that the new one has less connection with the car than the original one.

Assembly of the microphone of the Bluetooth system.
The Bluetooth function of the Kenwood system can not use the same microphone that is used by the original
bluetooth system of the car. For this reason it is necessary to install a new microphone (supplied inside the
Kenwood package) in the roof lamp; this new microphone has to replace the one that can be present on the car (if it has the Bluetooth opiton).
Lay the cable of the microphone (that is supplied inside the Kenwood package) from the multimedia system (in the

central console of the dashboard) to the roof lamp following the red path that is shown in the picture( Fig.15).
To pass the wiring harness under the roof liner, remove the screw underneath the roof lamp ( 1)LJ) so
that the front part of the roof liner can be lowered and the wire can be passed under it. On the lower part of the door side the wiring harness can be passed under the coverings without removing them ( 2)LJ .
