New pads require a bedding-in period, approximately 400 km, before they provide optimum friction. The slightly
reduced braking effect can be compensated by applying greater pressure on the brake pedal. Do not strain the brakes
too much during the pad bedding in procedure.
Ceramic brake disks improve braking efficiency comp ared to standard disks because of the following
characteristics: better deceleration/load ratio at pedal
better resistance to repeated braking with less wear of pads and disks

It goes into operation when the ESP detects a change of gradient when the vehicle is running.

In this case, the pressure of the brake calipers is kept for about 1.5 seconds after the brake pedal is released so the
driver can easily drive off pressing the accelerator pedal without the vehicle quickly backing up.
