7LS,Q)XQFWLRQ
When the driver requests a gear shift via shift paddles on steering wheel while driving in Automatic mode, the systemswitched to manual mode and the gearshift is executed. After 8 seconds the system goes back to Automatic modeif there is no addition manual gear request.
The E-Gear SW siplays on dashboard always the mode it is currently using. Tip-In mode is displayed like Manual
mode.
&XUYHGHWHFWLRQ RQO\LQ$XWRPDWLF0RGH
In Automatic mode (normal and sport) a curve detection function is active. This function prevent an automatic upshift when the steering wheel is turned over a threshold (at low speed) or the lateral acceleration is higher than a thre-
shold (at medium – high speed).
&OXWFK3URWHFWLRQSDFNDJH
7ZRWHPSHUDWXUHOLPLWDUHGH¿QHG • A warning limit which means, when the clutch temperature is higher, the clutch is loosing its capacity of torque
transmission and it is near to the damage limit
• A damage limit, which means, when the clutch temperature is higher, the clutch is no more able to transmit the
UHTXHVWHGWRUTXHDQGFDQEHGH¿QLWHO\GDPDJHG
When the clutch temperature is higher than the warning limit:• Anticipation of the automatic underspeed 2nd --> 1st (the clutch speed threshold for starting the underspeed
gear shift is higher than the normal case), in order to avoid pickup in 2nd gear.
8VHRIDVSHFL¿FSLFNXSWDEOHLQRUGHUWRUHGXFHWKHFOXWFKVOLSSKDVH
When the clutch temperature is higher than the damage limit: • Switch on the warning lamp and the message “Clutch overheated” to the driver.
• Store a DTC error code in the TCU memory if the clutch temperature remains over this limit.

Launch Control
The mode “Launch Control” realises the max. possible acceleration during pick up.
The activation is done if the following condition are true: •Brake pressed
• CORSA mode activated
• ESP deactivated
When the “launch control” is activated the engine speed is reasing according to the gas pedal position.
The Pick-UP starts immediately when the Brake pedal is Released.
&OXWFK7HPSHUDWXUH:DUQLQJ
A Special buzzer is used by the dashboard, that indicate that the clutch is too hot (c,a 200°), is switched on by Gear- box ECU.
)DXOW,QGLFDWLRQWRWKHGULYHU
A Driver Warning Message in the dashboard display, that indicate that the car need workshop attention, is switched
on by Gearbox ECU.

The air conditioning unit has two parts: •
ventilation unit outside the passenger compartment in the luggage compartment, equipped with an air
conveyor
• heating, cooling, and air distribution unit inside the passenger compartment under the dashboard
Air conditioning unit (Fig.2)

B. Ventilation unit
The ventilation unit takes in external air through the conveyor by means of a fan and sends it to the heating, cooling
and distribution unit. The fan is also used to recirculate the air inside the passenger compartment.The fan has:• an intake air temperature sensor

2. Disassembling the instrument cluster dashboard cover
• Disassemble the Kombi ornament. The ornament is pressed in without screws.
• Disassemble the Kombi instrument cluster using the fasteners ( %)LJ).
• Disassemble the dashboard cover by removing the two screws ( &)LJ) on the sides of the dashboard
cover.

3. Disassemble the driver side lower dashboard assembly.
• Remove the dashboard side cover left cap ( ')LJ).

• 2 screws ( ()LJ) are inside the dashboard cover
• 2 screws are near the side member cover
• one screw is near the center console
4.  Disassembling the actuators of the center vents ( ))LJ)
• Remove the connector from the actuator.
• Unscrew the three screws on the actuator. Remove the actuator.
5.  Disassembling the LH radiator temperature sensor ( *)LJ)
• Disconnect the sensor connector by pressing on the sides.
• Turn the sensor 90° to extract it from the air conditioning unit.

Proceed as follows: 1.  Disassemble the passenger side panel of the center console secured to the chassis using the pins ( $)LJ).
2.  Disassemble the passenger side footrest panel ( %)LJ).
3. Disassemble the passenger side lower dashboard assembly (including the glove box):
• Open the glove box and remove the two screws ( &)LJ) that secure it to the upper dashboard ( '
)LJ ).

• Remove the lower left mounting screw of the dashboard lower cover ( *)LJ).
• Remove the lower right mounting screw of the dashboard lower cover ( +)LJ).
• Remove the rear screw of the glove box ( ,)LJ).
• Lower the glove box and disconnect the glove box light and passenger side AIRBAG deactivation block
(/)LJ ).
• Remove the passenger side lower dashboard assembly complete with the glove box.
