display is enabled on the head-up display, it
will not be displayed on the multi-informa-

tem Indicator or tachometer for each driv-
ing mode.
Rev indicator (F SPORT models)
• Select to enable/disable the rev indica-
tor.
• Select to set the engine speed at which the rev indicator (amber) will begin to be
displayed.
 Rev peak (F SPORT models)
Select to enable/disable the rev peak.

Select to reset the meter display settings to
the default setting.
QVehicle functions and settings that
can be changed

QSuspension of the settings display
OSome settings cannot be changed while
driving. When changing settings, park
the vehicle in a safe place.
OIf a warning message is displayed, opera-
tion of the settings display will be sus-
pended.
Displays suggestions to the driver in
the following situations. To select a
response to a displayed suggestion,
use the meter control switches.
QSuggestion to turn on the head-
lights
If the headlights turn off, and the vehi- cle speed is 3 mph (5 km/h) or higher
for a certain amount of time when the
surroundings are dark, a suggestion
message will be displayed.
QSuggestion to turn off the head-
lights
If the headlights are left on for a certain
amount of time with the headlight
switch in after the power switch
has been turned off, a suggestion mes-
sage will be displayed asking if you
wish to turn the headlights off.
To turn the headlights off, select “Yes”.
If a front door is opened after the power
switch is turned off, this suggestion mes-
sage will not be displayed.

Some functions can be customized.

WARNING
QCautions during setting up the dis-
play
As the hybrid system needs to be operat-
ing during setting up the display, ensure
that the vehicle is parked in a place with
adequate ventilation. In a closed area
such as a garage, exhaust gases includ-
ing harmful carbon monoxide (CO) may
collect and enter the vehicle. This may
lead to death or a serious health hazard.
NOTICE
QDuring setting up the display
To prevent 12-volt battery discharge,
ensure that the hybrid system is operat-
ing while setting up the display features.

The power switch is in ON mode.
QWhen using the head-up display
The head-up display may seem dark or hard
to see when viewed through sunglasses,
especially polarized sunglasses. Adjust the
brightness of the he ad-up display or
remove your sunglasses.
QStreet name display
Only street names which are included in the
map data will be displayed.
QEnabling/disabling the head-up
display
Press the Head-up display switch.
QChanging settings of the head-up
display
The following settings can be changed
on of the multi-information display.

Select to adjust the brightness or vertical
position of the head-up display.

Select to display the Hybrid System Indica-
tor, tachometer or no content.

WARNING
QWhen using the head-up display
OCheck that the position and brightness
of the head-up display image does not
interfere with safe driving. Incorrect
adjustment of the image’s position or
brightness may obstruct the driver’s
view and lead to an accident, resulting
in death or serious injury.
ODo not continuously look at the head-
up display while driving as you may fail
to see pedestrians, objects on the
road, etc. ahead of the vehicle.
NOTICE
QHead-up display projector
ODo not place any drinks near the head-
up display projector. If the projector
gets wet, electrical malfunctions may
result.
ODo not place anything on or put stick-
ers onto the head-up display projector.
Doing so could interrupt head-up dis-
play indications.
ODo not touch the inside of the head-up
display projector or thrust sharp edges
or the like into the projector.
Doing so could cause mechanical mal-
functions.

QEnabling/disabling of the head-up dis-
play
If the head-up display is disabled, it will
remain disabled when the power switch is
turned off then back to ON mode.
QDisplay brightness
The brightness of the head-up display can
be adjusted on of the multi-information
display. Also, it is automatically adjusted
according to the ambient brightness.
QHead-up display automatic position
adjustment
If the display position is recorded into mem-
ory, the head-up display will be automati-
cally adjusted to the desired position.

QWhen the 12-volt battery is discon-
nected
The customize settings of the head-up dis-
play will be reset.

Displayed when a warning message is dis-

Some warning messages are displayed
when necessary, according to certain
conditions.

Displayed when an audio remote con-
trol switch on the steering wheel is

QWhen a pop-up display is displayed
When a pop-up display is displayed, a cur-
rent display may no longer be displayed. In
this case, the display will return after the
pop-up display disappears.

QDisplay procedure
Multi-information display
Press or of the meter control
switches and select , and then press or to select the energy monitor
display.
Center Display
Press the “MENU” button on the
Remote Touch, and then select on
the menu screen.
If the “Trip Information” or “History” screen
is displayed, select “Energy”.
QReading the display
The arrows will appear in accordance
with the energy flow. When there is no
energy flow, arrows will not be dis-
played.
The color of the arrows will change as fol-
lows
Blue: When the hybrid battery (traction
battery) is regenerated or charged.
Yellow: When the hybrid battery (traction
battery) is in use.
Red: When the gasoline engine is in use.
Energy monitor/consump-
tion screen
You can view the status of your
hybrid system and fuel consump-
tion information on the multi-infor-
mation display and Center Display.
12.3-inch display model: The
energy monitor or consumption

Current fuel consumption
Regenerated energy in the past 15
minutes
One symbol indicates 50 Wh. Up to 5
symbols are shown.
Average vehicle speed since the
hybrid system was started.
Elapsed time since the hybrid sys-
tem was started.
Cruising range
Average fuel consumption for the past 15
minutes is divided by color into past aver-
ages and averages attained since the
power switch was last turned to ON mode.
Use the displayed average fuel consump-
tion as a reference.
The image is an example only, and may
vary slightly from actual conditions.
QHistory
If a screen other than “History” is dis-
played, select “History”.

Previous fuel consumption record
Resetting the history data
Updating the latest fuel consump-
tion data
The average fuel consumption history is
divided by color into past averages and the
average fuel consumption since the last
updated. Use the displayed average fuel
consumption as a reference.
The image is an example only, and may
vary slightly from actual conditions.
QUpdating the history data
Update the latest fuel consumption by
selecting “Update” to measure the current
fuel consumption again.
QResetting the data
The fuel consumption data can be deleted
by selecting “Clear”.
QCruising range
Displays the estimated maximum distance
that can be driven with the quantity of fuel
remaining.
This distance is computed based on your
average fuel consumption.
