the system is set.
■ Al arm
The sy stem sounds t he alarm and f lashes lig hts w hen forcib le entry is detec ted.
To set th e ala rm: lock all t he doors from outside the v ehic le. The se curity indica tor lig ht
comes on to in dic ate that the ala rm is in its pr eparation state. Wh en the indicat or lig ht
begin s to flash, th e sy stem is armed.
To deactiva te or stop th e a larm: start the engine, or unloc k the door s or tr unk us ing the
elec tronic key or t he wir eles s remot e con trol.
■Steerin g lock
Th e st eering wheel lock s when the “E NGIN E
ST AR T S TOP” switch is i n O FF.
To release the steerin g wheel lock, gently t urn t he
whee l left or right w hile p ressin g th e “E NG INE
ST ART STOP” switch.

With the electronic key on y our person, the e ngine can be sta rted by simply p ressing the
“E NG INE S TAR T STOP” switch, w hile depr essing the b rake pedal.
