ge is shown on the multi-informa-
tion display. The following warning in dicates the possibility of damage to
the vehicle that may lead to an acci dent. Immediately stop the vehicle in a
safe place and contact your Lexus dealer.
Indicates a malfunction in: • The regenerative brake system;
• The electronically controlled brake system; or
• The electric parking brakeA buzzer also sounds.

When trouble arises
■The compact spare tire
●The compact spare tire is identified by the label “TEMPORARY USE ONLY” on
the tire sidewall.
Use the compact spare tire temporarily, and only in an emergency.
●Make sure to check the tire inflation pressure of the compact spare tire.

■When using the compact spare tire
As the compact spare tire is not equipped with a tire pressure warning valve and
transmitter, low inflation pressure of the spare tire will not be indicated by the tire
pressure warning system. Also, if you replace the compact spare tire after the tire
pressure warning light comes on, the light remains on.
■When the compact spare tire is equipped
The vehicle becomes lower when driving wi th the compact spare tire compared to
when driving with standard tires.
■If you have a flat rear tire on a road covered with snow or ice
Install the compact spare tire on one of th e front wheels of the vehicle. Perform the
following steps and fit tire chains to the rear tires:
Replace a front tire with the compact spare tire.
Replace the flat rear tire with the tire removed from the front of the vehicle.
Fit tire chains to the rear tires.

tory.
Use Lexus approved “Toyota Genuine Differential Gear Oil” or an equivalent of
matching quality to satisfy the above specification. Please contact your Lexus dealer
for further details.
*: Minimum pedal clearance when depressed with a force of 112.4 lbf (500 N,
51.0 kgf) while the hybrid system is operating.
When performing the brake pedal inspection, also be sure to check that the
brake system warning light is not illumina ted when the hybrid system is operating
(If the brake system warning light is illuminated, refer to P. 503).

The power window except for the one at the driver’s seat can-
not be operated if the window lock switch is pressed. (P. 1 6 7 )
●The auto power off function will be operated if the vehicle is left
in ACCESSORY or ON mode (the hybrid system is not oper-
ating) for a period of time. ( P. 1 9 6 )
●The seat belt remind er light is flashing
Are the driver and the front passenger wearing the seat belts?

●The parking brake indicator is on
