To change the set speed, operate the leve r until the desired set speed is obtained.
Increases the speed
Decreases the speed
Fine adjustment: Momentarily move
the lever in the desired direction.
Large adjustment: Hold the lever in the
desired direction.
The set speed will be increased or decreased as follows:
Fine adjustment: By approximately 1 mph (1.6 km/h)*1 or 1 km/h (0.6 mph)*2 each
time the lever is operated.
Large adjustment: The set speed can be increased or decreased continually until the
lever is released.
*1: When the set speed is shown in “MPH”
*2: When the set speed is shown in “km/h”
Pulling the lever toward you cancels
the constant speed control.
The speed setting is also canceled when
the brake pedal is depressed.
Pushing the lever up resumes the
constant speed control.
However, resuming is available when
the vehicle speed is more than approxi-
mately 25 mph (40 km/h).

■Cruise control can be set when
●The shift lever is in D or range 4 or higher of S has been selected.
●Range 4 or higher has been selected by using the paddle shift.
(vehicles with paddle shift switches)
●Vehicle speed is above approximately 25 mph (40 km/h).
■Accelerating after setting the vehicle speed
●The vehicle can be accelerated by operating accelerator pedal. After accelerating, the
set speed resumes.
●Even without canceling the cruise control, th e set speed can be increased by first accel-
erating the vehicle to the desired speed and then pushing the lever down to set the new
speed.
■Automatic cancelation of cruise control
Cruise control is automatically canceled in any of the following situations.
●Actual vehicle speed falls more than appr oximately 10 mph (16 km/h) below the set
speed.
●Actual vehicle speed is below approximately 25 mph (40 km/h).
●VSC is activated.
●TRAC is activated for a period of time.
●When the VSC or TRAC system is turned off by pressing the VSC OFF switch.
■If “Cruise Control Malfunction Visit Your De aler” is displayed on the multi-information
display
Press the “ON/OFF” button once to deactiv ate the system, and then press the button
again to reactivate the system.
If the cruise control speed cannot be set or if the cruise control cancels immediately after
being activated, there may be a malfunction in the cruise control system. Have the vehi-
cle inspected by your Lexus dealer.

WARNING
■To avoid operating the cruise control by mistake
Switch the cruise control off using th e “ON/OFF” button when not in use.
■Situations unsuitable for cruise control
Do not use cruise control in any of the following situations.
Doing so may result in loss of control and could cause an accident resulting in death or
serious injury.
●In heavy traffic
●On roads with sharp bends
●On winding roads
●On slippery roads, such as those covered with rain, ice or snow
●On steep hills
Vehicle speed may exceed the set speed when driving down a steep hill.
●When your vehicle is towing a trailer or during emergency towing

When the sensors detect an obstacle, the following displays inform the driver of
the position and distance to the obstacle.

You can change the buzzer sounds volu me and the screen operating conditions
when the power switch is in ON mode.
Press the “MENU” button on the Remote Touch, and then select on the
screen.
Select “Vehicle”, and then select “LEXUS Park Assist” on the screen.
Select the desired item.
The buzzer sounds volume can
be adjusted.
On or off can be selected for intu-
itive parking assist display.
Both the front or rear center sen-
sors display and tone indication
can be set.
■The intuitive parking assist can be operated when
●Front corner sensors:
• The power switch is in ON mode.
• The shift lever is in other than P.
• The vehicle speed is less than about 6 mph (10 km/h).(At any speed when the shift lever is in R)
●Front center sensors:
• The power switch is in ON mode.
• The shift lever is in other than P or R.
• The vehicle speed is less than about 6 mph (10 km/h).
●Rear corner and rear center sensors:
• The power switch is in ON mode.
• The shift lever is in R.
■Intuitive parking assist display
●Vehicles with 8-inch display: When an ob stacle is detected while the Lexus parking
assist monitor or panoramic view monitor is in use, the warning indicator will appear in
the upper part of the screen even if the display setting has been set to off.
●Vehicles with 12.3-inch display: If the intu itive parking assist display is set to on,
detected objects will also be displayed on the panoramic view monitor. For details, refer
to “NAVIGATION SYSTEM OWNER’S MANUAL”.

changed in the following procedure. Press the “MENU” button on the Remote Touch, and then select on the
screen.
Select “Vehicle”, and then select “Backup Camera Guide Line Settings” on
the screen.

Vehicles with Adaptive Variable Suspension System
Normal mode/Customized mode
Normal mode and customized mode ar e selected by pressing the driving
mode select switch. Each time the switch is pressed, the driving mode
changes between normal mode and customized mode. When customized
mode is selected, the “CUSTOMIZE” indicator will be illuminated.
When Eco drive mode or sport mode is se lected, pressing the switch changes the
driving mode to normal mode.
• Normal mode
Provides an optimal balance of fuel economy, quietness, and dynamic per-
formance. Suitable for city driving.
• Customized mode Allows you to drive with the following functions set to your preferred set-
tings.
Customized mode settings can only be changed on the drive mode cus-
tomization display of the audio system screen.

Eco drive mode
Helps the driver accelerate in an eco-friendly manner and improve fuel econ-
omy through moderate throttle charact eristics and by controlling the opera-
tion of the air conditioning system (heating/cooling).
When not in Eco drive mode, if the driving mode select switch is turned to the left, the
Eco drive mode indicator will come on.
Sport mode
•SPORT S mode
Controls the hybrid system to provide quick, powerful acceleration. This
mode is suitable for when agile drivin g response is desired, such as when
driving on roads with many curves.
When not in SPORT S mode, if the driving mode select switch is turned to the
right, the “SPORT S” indicator will come on.
•SPORT S+ mode
Helps to ensure steering performanc e and driving stability by simultane-
ously controlling the steering and suspension in addition to the hybrid sys-
tem. Suitable for sportier driving.
When in SPORT S mode, if the driving mode select switch is turned to the right,
the “SPORT S+” indicator will come on.
