Note
There may be some problems due to operational errors or mistakes. Please read this manual
again and verify that there really is a problem before calling an Authorized Mazda Dealer to
ask for repair services.

Check if a fuse has blown.
Consult an Expert Dealer, we recommend an Authorized
Mazda Dealer.
● Check if the voltage level of the vehicle battery is low.
Recharge the battery or change batteries.
Display does
not open or
close
The vehicle
position is not
correct
●Check if the vehicle position changed when the ignition was
switched to OFF from ACC.
When, for example,
• The vehicle was transported by a ferry boat.
• The vehicle was rotated on a turn table in a parking lot.
• The vehicle was transported by a tow track or other such
vehicle. Drive the vehicle for a while where you are receiving
GPS signals.

Audio Operation
■Radio ON
1.Press the SOURCE button.
2.Select the or on-screen button to turn the radio on.
■Band selection
Choose AM by pressing the on-screen button and FM by pressing the on-screen
button.
The selected mode will be indicated. If FM stereo is being received, STEREO will be
displayed.
■Tuning
The radio has the following tuning methods: Manual, Seek, Scan, Preset channel,
PTY(Program-type information) tuning, and Auto memory tuning. The easiest way to tune
stations is to set them on preset channels.
Note
● If the FM broadcast signal becomes weak, reception automatically changes from STEREO
to MONO for reduced noise, and the STEREO indicator will go out.
● Press the MAP/VOICE button to switch to the map screen.
● If the power supply is interrupted (fuse blows or the battery is disconnected), the preset
channels will be canceled.
■Manual tuning
Turning the TUNE AUDIO dial will change the frequency higher or lower.
■Seek tuning
Pressing and holding the SEEK/TRACK button ( , ) will cause the tuner to seek a
higher or lower frequency automatically.

■Receiving call using a Bluetooth phone
Note

If the on-screen button is pressed, the call received on the currently connected
mobile telephone is refused and the incoming call screen is no longer di\
splayed.
● If the phone number for the received call is unknown, “Unknown” is displayed on the
incoming call screen.
● If the caller cancels the call, the incoming call screen is no longer di\
splayed.
■Making phone calls using the outgoing call record
1. The currently connected mobile telephone
receives calls.
2. The Incoming Call screen is displayed.
3. Press the on-screen button.

2. The NAVIGATION MENU is displayed.
Press the on-
screen button to switch to the Bluetooth phone
screen.
3. Press the on-screen button. • If there are 0 items in the call record, the
color of the on-screen button is
