Connecting a mobile phone via AndroidAuto
Requirements:RThefirst activation of AndroidAutoonthemultimedia system must be carried out whenthevehicle isstationaryfor safetyreasons.
RThe mobile phone supports AndroidAutofrom Android 5.0.
RThe AndroidAutoapp is installed onthemobile phone.
RIn ordertousethetelephone functions,themobile phone must be connectedtothe mul‐
timedia system via Bluetooth®
(page 304).
Iftherewas no prior Internet connection,thisis established withthe use ofthe mobilephone with AndroidAuto.
RThe mobile phone is connectedtothe multi‐media system viathe USB port

This has no connectiontothevehicle identifica‐tion number (VIN) and is deleted whenthe multi‐media system isreset (page274).
