The tyre is inOated. The tyre pressure is shown

Pump the tyre to the speciNed tyr

e pressure has been
reached, press on/oM switch 4 on the tyre
inOation compressor to 0.

If the tyre pressure is higher than the speciNed

essure, press pressure release valve button 6 until t
he correct tyre pressure has been
reached.

Unscrew union nut 2 of Nller hose 1 fr
om
the valve. 
Screw the valve cap of the emergency spare
wheel ont

o the valve again. 
Stow Nller hose 1 and plug 3 in t
he lower
section of the tyre inOation compressor hous-
ing.

If two-way radios are manipulated or r

ted incorrectly, the electromagnetic radiation
from the two-way radios can interfere with the
vehicle electronics and jeopardise the operat-
ing safety of the vehicle. 
You should have all work on electrical

improper operation of two-way radios
If you use two-way radios in the vehicle
im
properly, their electromagnetic radiation
can disrupt the vehicle's electronics. This is
the case in the following situations, in particu-
lar:
= The two-way radio is not connected to an
exterior aerial.
= The exterior aerial is Ntted incorrectly or is
not a low-reOection aerial.
This could jeopardise the operating safety of
the vehicle. 
Have the lo

When operating two-way radios in the

ehicle, always connect them to the low-

If you or other people come into contact with

o contact with fuel. Flexible-fuel vehicles can be refuelled with the fol-

wing fuel types:
= unleaded petrol
= E85 fuel
= a mixture of E85 fuel and unleaded petrol
Flexible-fuel vehicles can be identiNed by the
Ethanol up to E85 sticker on the inside of the fuel
Nller Oap.
Depending on the country, the fuels you can use
in your vehicle may diMer from the information in
the Owner's Manual. The fuels that have been
approved for your vehicle can be found on the
instruction label on the inside of the fuel Nller Oap. Fuel

The compatibility indications for fuel on the vehi-
cle accor
ding to European standard EN 16942
can be found on the information label on the fuel Nller
Oap or on t
he fuel dispenser or pump nozzle
suitable for your vehicle throughout Europe.
If the available fuel is not suPciently low in sul-
phur, it may produce unpleasant odours.
The recommended octane number can be found
on the information label on the fuel Nller Oap
(  page 197).
If the recommended fuel is not available, you may
also temporarily use regular unleaded petrol with
an octane number of at least 91 RON.
This may reduce engine output and increase fuel
consumption.
Never refuel using petrol with an even lower RON.
Further information on fuel can be obtained at a
Nlling station or a qualiNed specialist workshop.

y Mercedes-Benz to the fuel. Mercedes-Benz recommends that you use brand-
name fuels wit

h additives.
In some countries, the fuel available may not have
suPcient additives. Deposits could build up in the
fuel injection system as a result. In this case, in
consultation with a Mercedes-Benz service
centre, mix the fuel with the cleaning additive rec-
ommended by Mercedes-Benz. Observe the notes
and mixing ratios indicated on the tank.
