The MBUX Interior Assistant supports the following interactions:

Selecting a user pr
oNle may trigger an adjust-
ment of the driver's seat to the position saved
under the user proNle. You or other vehicle
occupants could be injured in the process. 
Make sure that when the position of the
dr
iver's seat is being adjusted via the
multimedia system, no people or body
parts are in the seat's range of move-
ment.
If there is a risk of someone becoming trap-
ped, s
top the adjustment process immedi-
ately: 
a) Tap the warning message on the
media displa
y.
or 
b) Press a memory function position but-

on or a seat adjustment switch on the
driver's door.
The adjustment process will be stopped. MBUX multimedia system

The driver's seat is equipped with an access pre-

enter.
If the driver's door is open, the driver's seat will
not be set aser calling up the driver's proNle.
ProNles store your vehicle settings and settings
for the multimedia system. If the vehicle is used
by several drivers, the driver can select their own
proNle without changing the stored proNle settings
of other drivers.

Vehicle settings are, for example, driver's seat,
s
teering wheel and mirror settings, climate control
and ambient lighting. For the settings of the multi-
media system, you can select, for example, radio
stations, previous destinations as well as themes,
suggestions and favourites.
For recurring driving situations, such as long
drives on the motorway, you can save your prefer-
red settings in a theme in the vehicle. In a theme
you can save the display of the digital map, your
preferred radio station and preferred drive pro-
gram, for example. The vehicle can learn the habits of the driver. It

hen oMers suggestions for the most probable
navigation destinations, media sources, radio sta-
tions or contacts. The pre-requirements for that
are the selection of a proNle, your consent to the
recording of data and suPcient collected data.
Favourites provide quick access to applications
that are used osen. You can select favourites
from categories or add them directly to an appli-

ually at a later time.
Deep system updates
Deep system updates access vehicle or system
settings and can therefore only be carried out
when the vehicle is stationary and the ignition is
switched oM. If the download of a deep system update is com-
ple

te and the downloaded system update is ready
for installation, you will be informed of this aser
the next ignition cycle, for example.

= Notes and warnings have been read and

= The electric parking brake has been applied.
If all requirements have been fulNlled, the down-
loaded system update is installed. The multimedia
system cannot be operated while the downloaded
system update is being installed and vehicle func-
tions are restricted.
If errors should occur during the installation, the
multimedia system automatically attempts to
restore the previous version. If restoration of the
previous version is not possible, a symbol appears
on the media display. Consult a qualiNed special-
ist workshop to resolve the problem. Setting up a Wi-Fi hotspot
Requirements:

o set up the Wi-Fi connection of the multime-
dia system with external hotspots: your vehicle
does not have a permanently installed com-
munication module.
= The device to be connected supports at least
one of the types of connection described.

the Wi-Fi connections are being re-estab-
lished, the new security key must be entered. System language

guage for the menu displays and the navigation
announcements. The selected language aMects
the characters available for entry. The navigation
announcements are not available in all languages.
If a language is not available, the navigation
announcements will be in English.
