cient voltage again. One or both of the indicator lamps on the

maturely. There is insuff
icient voltage because too
many consumers, e.g. reading lamps and
interior lighting, are switched on. 6

The seat ventilation* will automatically
switch back on as soon as there is suffi-

do wheating button is flashing. The rear
window heating has switched itself off

the Thermatic /Thermotronic* control
panel lights up or flashes when you press
the button. The air-condi tioning system
cannot be switched on. The cooling system is losing refri
gerant. 6
Have the climate control system
checked at a qualified specialist work-
shop, e.g. a Mercedes-Benz Service
Centre. The PASSEN
GER AIRBAG OFF warning
lamp is lit on the centre console. A ch
ild seat is fitted to the front-passen-
ger seat. The front-passenger airbag has
been dea ctivat ed. There is no child seat fitted to the front-
pas
senger seat. The child seat recognition
system has malfunctioned. 6
Have the child seat recognition checked
at a qualified specialist worksho pwhi ch
has the necessary specialist kno wledge
and tools to carry out the work required.
Mercedes-Benz recommends that you
use a Mercedes-Benz Service Centre for
this purpose.
In particular, work relevant to safety or
on safety-related systems must be car-
ried out at a qualified specialist work-
shop.

The yellow engine diagnostic in-
dicator lamp lights up while you

! in the fuel injection system

The emission limit values may be exceeded
and the engine may be runn ing in emergency

Have the vehicle checked as soon as

Centre. The fuel tank has run dry. 6
Start the engine three to four times
after refuelling.

lights up and you also hear an in-
termittent audible signal. The
warning lamp is to remind you to fasten
the sea tbelt.
It lights up ifthe driver has not fastened his
seat belt as soon as:
! the engine isrunning
! the drive r&#39;s door is closed
The intermittent signal sounds for approxi-
mately 93 seconds as soon as you exceed a
road speed of 25 km /h. 6
Fasten your seat belt ( =page 32).
The warning lamp goes out and the
audible signal ceases.
