equipmentinstalled in the vehicle.
XSwitch on COMAND and activate audio
CD/DVDmodeorMP3 mode; see the
separate operating instructions.
XPress the\norbutton on the
steering wheeltoselect theAudiomenu.
XTo select the next/previous track:
brieflypress theorbutton.
XTo selectatrack from the track list
(rapidscrolling):press and hold the
orbuttonuntil desired
trackhasbeenreached.
If youpress and holdor,the
rapidscrolling speed is increased.Not all
audio drives or data carriers support this
function.
If track information is stored on the audio
device or medium, the multifunction display
will show the number and title of the track.
The current track does not appear in audio
AUX mode (Auxiliary audio mode: external
audio source connected).

If youoperate informationsystems and
communication equipmentintegratedin the
vehiclewhile driving, you will be distracted
from traffic conditions. You could also lose
control of thevehicle. There isariskofan
accident.
Only operate theequipmentwhen the traffic
situation permits. If you are not sure that this
is possible, park the vehicle paying attention
to traffic conditions and operate the
equipment when the vehicle is stationary.
When telephoning, you must observe the
legal requirements for the countryinwhich
you are currently driving.
XSwitch on the mobile phone (see the
separate operating instructions).
XSwitch on COMAND (see the separate
operating instructions).
XEstablishaBluetooth®connection to
COMAND; see the separate operating
instructions.
XPress the\norbutton on the
steering wheel to select theTelmenu.
You will see one of the following display
messages in the multifunction display:
RPhone READYor the name of the network
provider: the mobile phone has found a
network and is ready to receive.
RPhone No Service:there is no network
available or the mobile phone is searching
foranetwork.
Acceptingacall
Example: incoming call
XPress thebutton on the steering
wheel to acceptanincoming call.
If someone calls youwhenyouareinthe
Telmenu,adisplay message appearsinthe
multifunctiondisplay.
You can acceptacall even if you are not in
theTelmenu.
Rejecting or endingacall
XPress thebutton on the steering
wheel.
You can end or rejectacall even if you are not
in theTelmenu.
Dialinganumberfrom the phone book
