case; observe possible restrictions of the
approved SAE viscosity classes)
To achieve the lowest possible fuel consumption,
it is recommended to use the engine oil speciNca-
tions marked in the table for the lowest SAE vis-
cosity class. Possible restrictions of the approved
SAE viscosity classes must be observed.
% If the engine oils listed in the table are not
a

vailable, you may add a maximum of 1.0 litre
of the following engine oils once only.

WARNING Risk of an accident due t
o
vapour pockets forming in the brake sys-
tem
The brake Ouid cons
tantly absorbs moisture
from the air. This lowers the boiling point of
the brake Ouid. If the boiling point is too low,
vapour pockets may form in the brake system
when the brakes are applied hard. This impairs the braking
eMect.
Have the brake Ouid r
enewed at the
speciNed intervals. Have the brake
Ouid r
egularly replaced at a quali-
Ned specialist workshop.
Only use a brake Ouid appr
oved by Mercedes-
Benz according to MB-Freigabe or MB-Approval

Thoroughly clean the antifreeze from
com

vehicle. *
NOTE Damag
e caused by incorrect cool-
ant
Only use coolant that has been premixed
wit
h the required antifreeze protection.
Information on coolant is available at the fol-
lo
wing locations:
= In the Mercedes-Benz SpeciNcation for
Operating Fluids 320.1
- At https://operatingOuids.mercedes-

atures If an inappropriate coolant is used, the cooling
sy

stem is not suPciently protected against
overheating and corrosion at high outside
temperatures.
Only use coolant approved for
Mer

cedes-Benz.
Observe the instructions in the
Mer
cedes-Benz SpeciNcations for Oper-
ating Fluids 320.1. Have the coolant regularly replaced at a
q

specialist workshop.
Proportion of antifreeze concentrate in the cool-
ing system:
= A minimum of 50% (antifreeze protection down
to about -37°C)
