Position jack2at jack support point1.
Turnratchet3clockwise until jack2sitscompletelyon jack support point1andthebase ofthe jack liesevenly onthe ground.
Turnratchet3untilthe tire israised a maxi‐mum of1.2 in (3 cm) fromthe ground.
Loosen andremovethe wheel (→page412).
Removing a wheel

Whenchanging a wheel,avoid applying anyforcetothe brake discs, sincethis could impairthelevel of comfortwhen braking.
NOTEDamagetothreading from dirt onwheel bolts
Do not place wheel bolts in sand or ona dirty surface.
Unscrewthe uppermost wheel bolt com‐pletely.
Screwalignment bolt1instead ofthewheel bolt intothethreading.
Unscrewtheremaining wheel bolts fully.
Removethe wheel.
Installthe new wheel (→page412).

The brakefluid constantly absorbs moisturefromthe air. This lowersthe boiling point ofthe brakefluid. Ifthe boiling point istoo low,vapor pockets mayforminthe brake systemwhenthe brakes are applied hard.
This causesthe braking effecttobeimpaired.
Havethe brakefluidrenewed atthespecified intervals.
