use an ISOFIX or i‑Size child restraint

cushion inclination accordingl y.

under strain bythe head restraint. Adjust the

% Before opening or closing the soT top, child
re straint systems in weight category II or III
must be remo ved or the head restraints of the
ch ild restraint systems must be mo vedto the
lo we st position. In this case, let thech ild get
out before opening or closing the soT top. #
Install thech ild restraint system.
The entire base of thech ild restraint system
must al ways rest on the seat sur face of the
re ar seat. #
Always make sure that the shoulder belt strap
is cor rectly routed from the seat belt outlet of th
eve hicle tothe shoulder belt guide on the
ch ild restraint system.
The shoulder belt strap must be routed

To open or close the soT top while you are driving,
do not exceed a maximum speed of 50 km/h. To
avo id inter rupting the closing process while you
are slightly exceeding this speed, do not drive at a
speed greater than 60 km/h. #
Make sure that the boot separator is closed. #
Close the boot lid. #
Switch on theve hicle. #
Keep the brake pedal depressed when the
ve hicle is stationar y. #

Operate the soT- topswitch again to
open or close the soT top full y. The cur
rent procedure will be stopped at a speed

Before starting the engine: adjust the
driver's seat, the head restraints, the
stee ring wheel and the mir ror and fasten
yo ur seat belt. Ensure

wheel 1, seat belt 2and driver's seat 3:
R You are sitting as farawa y from the driver's
airbag as possible, taking thefo llowing points
into consideration.
R You are sitting in an upright position.
R Your thighs are slightly suppor tedby the seat
cushion. R
Your legs are not fully extended and you can
depress the pedals proper ly.
R The back of your head is suppor ted at eye
le ve lby the centre of the head restraint.
R You can hold the steering wheel with your
arms slightly bent.

R Your seat belt sits snugly against your body
and passes across the centre of your shoulder
