R The "mo torw ay mode" and "enhanced fog
light" functions will not be available.

The hazard
warning lights will switch on automati-
cally if:
R the airbag has been deplo yed.
R theve hicle is braked heavily from a speed of
more than 70 km/h toa standstill.
When you pull away again, the hazard warning
light system will switch o. automatically at
appr oximately 10 km/h. You can also switch o.

The MULTIBEAM LED headlamp s adapttothe
driving and weather situation and pr ovide exten-
ded functions for impr oved illumination of the
ro ad.
The system comprises thefo llowing functions:

R Motorw ay mode (/ page 131)
R Enhanced fog light function (/ page 131)R

The system is active only when it is dar k.

The headlamps follow the steering mo ve-
ments.

The functions are active when the low beam is
switched on.
Depending on theve hicle's equipment, the course
of the lane in which you are driving will also be ev
aluated and the active headlamps function will
adjust the light in advance.

The enhanced fog light function reduces self-daz-
zling and impr oves the illumination of the edge of
th e car riag ewa y. The function is automatically activated under
the
fo llowing conditions:
R Atspeeds below 70 km/h and when there ar
fo g light is switched on. The function is automatically deactivated under

efo llowing conditions:
R When speeds greater than 100 km/h are
re ached.

The bad weather light reduces re0ections in rainy
conditions bydimming individual LEDs in the
headlamps. The driver and other road users are
dazzled less as a result.
The city lighting function
The city lighting function

in urban areas using a broad distribution of light.
