In a car wash. Mercedes-Benz recommends transporting your
v
ehicle in the case of a breakdown, rather than
towing it away.
For towing, use a tow rope or tow bar with both
axles on the ground. Do not use tow bar systems. If you notice that the vehicle has lost coolant, do

Notes on electrical fuses
&
WARNING Risk of accident and injur
y due
to overloaded lines
If you manipulate or bridge a faulty fuse or if
y
ou replace it with a fuse with a higher amper-
age, the electric line could be overloaded.
This could result in a Nre.
Always replace faulty fuses with speci-
Ned ne

w fuses containing the correct
amperage. *
NOTE Damag
e due to incorrect fuses Using incorrect fuses can result in damage to
electr
ical components or systems or their
functions being considerably restricted.
Use only fuses approved for Mercedes-
Benz wit

h the respective speciNed fuse
rating. Blown fuses must be replaced with fuses of the
same r

ating, which you can recognise by the col- our and the label. The fuse ratings and further
inf

ormation to be observed can be found in the
fuse assignment diagram.
Fuse assignment diagram: on the fuse box in the

When the fuse box is open, make sure
t

hat no moisture can enter the fuse box.
When closing the fuse box, make sure
t
