Adjusting the outside mirrors

Use button 2 or 4 t o select the desired mir-
ror.

harged, the outside mirrors must be
moved brieOy using button 3. Only then will
the automatic mirror folding function work
properly.
Engaging the outside mirrors
If an outside mir
ror has been forcibly disengaged,
proceed as follows. 
Vehicles without electrically folding outside
mir

rors: manually move the outside mirror into
the correct position. 
Vehicles with electrically folding outside mir-
r
ors: press and hold button 3.
You will hear a click and the mirror will audibly
engage. The outside mirror will now be set to
the correct position. Automatic anti-dazzle mirrors function

Electrolyte may escape if the glass in an auto-
matic anti-dazzle mir
ror breaks.
The electrolyte is hazardous to health and cau-
ses irritation. It must not come into contact
with your skin, eyes, respiratory organs or
clothing or be swallowed. 
If you come into contact with electrolyte,
obser
ve the following:
= Immediately rinse the electrolyte
from your skin with water and seek
medical attention.
= If electrolyte comes into contact with
your eyes, immediately rinse them
thoroughly with clean water and seek
medical attention.
= If the electrolyte is swallowed, imme-
diately rinse your mouth out thor-
oughly. Do not induce vomiting. Seek
medical attention immediately. 158

= If an allergic reaction occurs, seek
medical attention immediately. When light from a headlamp hits the sensor on

he inside rearview mirror, the inside rearview mir-
ror automatically dims.
System limits
The system will not go into anti-dazzle mode if:
= The vehicle is switched oM.
= Reverse gear is engaged
= The interior lighting is switched on. Front-passenger outside mirror parking position

The parking position makes parking easier.
The fr

ont-passenger outside mirror will swivel
downwards in the direction of the rear wheel on
the front passenger's side when:
= the parking position is stored ( page 159). =

he front-passenger mirror is selected.
= reverse gear is engaged.
The front-passenger outside mirror will move back
to its original position when:
= you shis the transmission to another transmis-
sion position.
= you are travelling at a speed greater than
15 km/h.
= you press the button for the outside mirror on

An interior

so that the air conditioning system, pollution level
monitoring and the air Nltration work correctly.

Mercedes-Benz. Always have maintenance work

he external conditions, improved
cooling and dehumidiNcation of the interior air are
supported when the A/C function is activated. If
it is not possible to operate the A/C function on
the climate bar on the central display, switch the
function on or oM in the climate menu of the cen-
tral display.

tained at a constant level by the air supply.

selected at the same time, for example to set the climate control for the interior and the

automatic mode is active, the buttons for set-
ting the air distribution are automatically
deactivated. When the air conditioning system
is switched oM, the buttons remain operable

It is possible to make use of the residual heat
from the engine to continue heating or ventilating
the front compartment of the vehicle for approx-
imately 30 minutes, depending on the tempera-

con located in the glove box. 
Navigate down until the climate control bar is
