FunctionoftheHead-upDisplay
The Head-up Display projects information above
the cockpit into the driver's field of vision, e.g.
the speed of the vehicle, information from the navigation system or driver assistance systemsand some warning messages.
Depending on the vehicle's equipment, different content can be shown in the three display areasof the Head-up Display (  page 291).

The visibility of the displays will be affected by the following conditions:

Notes on how to improve recognition:
= Activate online voice control (  page 296).
= Only operate the Voice Control System from
the driver's seat.
= Say the voice commands coherently and
clearly, but do not exaggerate the words.
= Avoid loud noises that cause interference
while making a voice command entry, e.g. the entertainment in the rear passenger
compartment.
= Fortelephoneoraddressbookentries:
- Only create sensible address book entries
in the system/mobile phone, e.g. enter surname and first name in the correct
field.
