Notes on climate control
An interior

in the engine compartment must always be used
so that the air conditioning system, pollution level
monitoring and the air Nltration work correctly.
Use Nlters recommended and approved by
Mercedes-Benz. Always have maintenance work

It is possible to make use of the residual heat
from the engine to continue heating or ventilating
the front compartment of the vehicle for approx-
imately 30 minutes, depending on the tempera-
ture set.

the Oacon. If you do not use genuine Mercedes-Benz interior

fumes, observe the manufacturers' safety noti-
ces on the perfume packaging.
Dispose of the genuine Mercedes-Benz interior
perfume Oacon when it is empty and do not reNll
it.
ReNllable Oacon 
Unscrew the cap of the empty Oacon. 
Fill the Oacon wit
h a maximum of 15 ml. 
Screw the cap back onto the Oacon.

down to temperatures below the outside tem-
perature.
= If the outside temperature changes, ventilation
mode will automatically switch to heating
mode or heating mode will automatically
switch to ventilation mode.
The stationary heater and the exhaust gas outlet
are situated behind the right front wheel.
