disconnect th e battery St arting assi st ance and ch arging th e 12 V
battery

When ch arging: only use battery ch ar ge rs
te st ed and appr ove d by Mercedes-Benz, and
please re ad th e battery ch ar ge r's operating
instructions before ch arging th e batter y.
Obser ve th e additional fo llowing points during
st arting assis ta nce:R
St arting assis ta nce may only be pr ov ided
using batteries with a nominal vo ltage of 12
V. R
The ve hicles must not to uch.R
Ga soline engine: On ly accept st arting assis‐
ta nce if th e engine and ex haust sy st em are
cold.
