Deleting all recordings
Select Manage Lanes .Select W next to one of the desired record-
ings.Select Delete All .\bAlternatively, you can delete all data for Mem-
ory Parking Assist by resetting the multimedia system (  page 363).
Vehicle towing instructions
The vehicle is not suitable for the use of tow bar
systems that are used for "Oat towing or dinghy
towing, for example. Attaching and using tow bar
systems can result in damage to the vehicle. When you are towing a vehicle with tow bar sys-
tems, safe driving characteristics cannot be guar- anteed for the towing vehicle or the towed vehicle.
The vehicle-trailer combination may swerve fromside to side.

Notes on the driver\bs display&WARNING Risk of accident if the driver
display fails
If the driver display has failed or is malfunc-
tioning, function restrictions in systems rele-
vant to safety cannot be detected.
The operating safety of your vehicle may be
impaired.
Drive on carefully.Have the vehicle checked immediately at
a quali"Ned specialist workshop.*NOTE Mercedes-AMG vehiclesObserve the notes in the Supplement.
You could otherwise fail to recognize
dangers.
If the operating safety of your vehicle is impaired,
park the vehicle immediately and safely. Contact a
quali"Ned specialist workshop.
The driver\bs display shows basic information such
as speed, engine speed, fuel level, coolant tem-
perature as well as indicator and warning lamps.
Additional functions available include the follow-
ing:
= Di"Merent menus, e.g. for assistance and navi-
gation
= Status displays for the driving systems
= Display messages
= Information on speed, Consumption and
range
= Power meter level and condition of charge of
the high-voltage battery
= Indicator and warning lamps
Plug-in hybrid vehicles are additionally equipped
with the following warning and indicator lamps:

The content on the driver\bs display is controlled using the control elements on the le"s side of the
steering wheel. You can use Touch Control 3 to
navigate vertically and horizontally by swiping with
one "Nnger. Con"Nrm your selection by pressing the
Touch Control.\bTo operate Touch Control 3 in the most
e"Mective way, use the tip of your thumb if pos-
sible. You can also set the sensitivity of the Touch Control on the central display .Brie"Oy press main menu button 2.Select a menu by swiping to the le"s or right

If you operate information systems and com-
munication devices integrated in the vehicle
when driving, you could be distracted from the tra"Pc situation. This could also cause you to
lose control of the vehicle.

The following menus can be called up via the menu bar on the driver\bs display:

On some of these menus, you can choose
between di"Merent display content on the center
display area.
On most of the menus, you can use Options to
con"Ngure further settings for the menu-speci"Nc
display content.

ble settings and selections on the menus in the Digital Operator\bs Manual.
Calling up displays on the Sport menu (plug-inhybrid)
Driver\bs display:

The Sport menu provides additional information
about the operating energy as well as the recuper-
ated output of the vehicle.
\bWhen you call up the Sport menu on the
menu bar of the driver\bs display, the menu
color setting will automatically be applied to
the MBUX multimedia system.To call up the menu: press the le"s-hand Touch

Head-up Display
Function of the head-up display
The head-up display projects various content into
the driver\bs "Neld of vision, for example.
You can use the head-up display menu bar to
select various contexts, e.g.:

= Head-up display on/o"M\bDepending on the equipment, the functions

this Operator\bs Manual. For example, route guidance with augmented reality is not availa-ble in all equipment variants.

When you receive a call, the a Call Waiting
message will appear on the head-up display and
the driver\bs display.
System limits
Visibility is particularly in"Ouenced by the following
conditions:

= Image position setting
= Ambient light
= Wet road surfaces
= Objects on the display cover
= Polarization in sunglasses
Function of the head-up display with augmented
reality
\bAugmented reality is available only in conjunc-
tion with the 10x5° head-up display.The head-up display with augmented reality proj-

gation system

assistance systems, e.g. Active Distance

The marker for the detected vehicle in front and
the change-of-direction arrows for the route are
dynamic displays. The vehicle marker stays with the vehicle in front, and Active Distance Assistregulates your speed based on this. The change-
of-direction arrows point the way calculated by
the navigation system.

System limits
The marker for the detected vehicle in front may be inaccurate or may not be applied to the cor- rect vehicle in some situations. Always pay atten-tion to the actual driving situation.
Route guidance with augmented reality will not be
available in some situations, e.g. in the event of
poor satellite reception or roads that have not been digitized.
Visibility is in"Ouenced by conditions including the
following:
= Driver camera and multifunction camera
recording
= The extent to which the windshield in the area
of the multifunction camera is dirty, or if the
camera is fogged up, damaged or obscured
