loss/malfunction) is on.
The tyre pressure monitoring system has de tected a loss of pressure in
at least one tyre. &

ARNING Risk of an accident due toinsu1cient tyre pressure
R The tyres can burst.
R The tyres can wearexcessively and/or une venly.
R The driving characteristics as well as the steering and braking
may be greatly impaired.
Yo u could then lose control of theve hicle. #
Obser vethere commended tyre pressures. #
Adjust the tyre pressure if necessar y. #
Stop theve hicle without steering or braking sudden ly.Pa y attention
to the tra1c conditions. #
Secure theve hicle against rolling away. #
Pay attention tothe display messages. #
Check the tyres and, if necessar y,replace the wheel (/ page 261). #
Check the tyre pressure.
In vehicles with steering-wheel buttons, you can check the tyre pressure
electronically (/ page 258). #
Correct the tyre pressure as necessar y.

The tyre pressure monitoring system cannot issue a warning if there
is pressure loss in one or more of the tyres.
Ty res with insu1cient tyre pressure may impair the driving charac-
