The temp erature can be set centrally using the
synchronisation function. The temp erature setting
fo rth e driver's side will then be adop tedfo rthe

u can use this function todefrost and demist the
windscreen and the front side windo wsfrom the
inside. Switch o. the "Demist windscreen" function
as soon as the windscreen is clear.

automatically be switched on. #

If th e indicator lamp abo vethe¬ rock er
switch lights up, the function has been
switched on. The cur rent air-conditioning set-
tings will be deactivated.
The temp erature, air0ow and air distribution
will be regulated automatically tooptimise the
demisting e.ect. Air-recirculation mode will be
deactivated.
When you enable automatic mode, the "Demist
windscreen" function will switch o. automaticall y.
When you switch o. the "Demist windscreen" func-
tion, the pr evious settings for automatic climate
control will be applied again.

R while theve hicle is driving through a tunnel
(vehicles with THERM OTRO NIC automatic cli-
mate cont rol and navigation only)
ATer appr oximately 30 minutes, outside air will
automatically be introduced again.
Air-recirculation mode will automatically switch o.
in thefo llowing cases:
R aTer appr oximately /ve minutes at outside
te mp eratures below appr oximately 7°C
R aTer approximately /ve minutes when the
"Cooling with air dehumidi/cation" function is
deactivated
R aTer appr oximately 30 minutes at outside tem-
peratures abo veappr oximately 7°C and when Climate control
