The cargo area can be enlarged as follows:'

Settings1.Release the backrest, and tilt it forward.2.Fold the frame up until it engages.3.Fold back and engage the rear seat back~
rest.
Folddownthemiddlesection
1.Fold in the middle head restraint.2.Reach into the recess and pull the middle
section forward.
Foldbackthebackrest
Fold up the backrest and press it into the latch.Make sure that the safety belt is not pinched.
Variablecargoarea
floor
With the variable cargo area floor, the cargo area can be configured corresponding to trans~
port requirements. To do this, remove the
cargo area floor, and insert it in the desired po~ sition.
Follow instructions on securing cargo, refer to
page 165.
Removingthecargofloorpanel1.Fold the rear part of the cargo floor panel
upward.2.Grasp the cargo floor panel in the rear and fold slightly upward.3.Pull the cargo floor panel backward fromthe brackets.
Proceed in the reverse order to reinstall thecargo area floor.
