Forward/backward
Pull the lever and slide the seat in the desired
direction.
After releasing the lever, move the seat forward or back slightly making sure it engages prop~
erly.
Height
Pull the lever up or press it down as often as
needed to reach the desired height.
Backrest
tilt
Pull the lever and apply your weight to the
backrest or lift it off, as necessary.
Lumbar
support
The curvature of the seat backrest can be ad~
justed in a way that it supports the lumbar re~
gion of the spine. The lower back and the spine
are supported for upright posture.
Turn the wheel in order to increase or decrease the curvature.
Thigh
support
Pull the lever at the front of the seat and adjust
the thigh support.

3-door
models:

Safety
information WARNING
There is a risk of jamming when moving
the seats. There is a risk of injury or risk of property damage. Make sure that the area of
movement of the seat is clear prior to any ad~
justment. '

WARNING
Unexpected movements of the backrest
while driving may occur due to an unlocked
backrest. Vehicle control could be lost. There is
a risk of injury. Fold back and lock the backrests before driving. '

The center safety belt buckle of the rear seat isintended for the person sitting in the middle.
General
information Always make sure that safety belts are beingworn by all occupants before driving off. Al~though airbags enhance safety by providingadded protection, they are not a substitute forsafety belts.
Slowly guide the safety belt out of the holder when fastening it.
If needed, disengage the safety belt in the rear from the belt buckle on the side.
The upper shoulder strap's anchorage point will
be correct for adult seat occupants of every
build if the seat is correctly adjusted.

information WARNING
If the safety belt is used to buckle more
than one person, the protective effect of the safety belt can no longer be ensured. There is arisk of injuries or danger to life. Do not allow
more than one person to wear a single safety belt. Infants and children are not allowed on an
occupant's lap, but must be transported and
secured in designated child restraint systems. '

Make sure you hear the latch plate engage in
the belt buckle.

1.Hold the safety belt firmly.2.Press the red button in the belt buckle.3.Guide the safety belt back into its roll-up
mechanism.

reminder
for
driver's
seat
and
front
passenger
seat
The indicator lamp lights up and a sig~
nal sounds. Make sure that the safety
belts are positioned correctly. The
safety belt reminder is active at speeds above
approx. 6 mph/10 km/h. It can also be acti~ vated if objects are placed on the front passen~ger seat.

restraints
Correctly

restraint
General
information A correctly adjusted head restraint reduces the
risk of injury to cervical vertebrae in the event of an accident.
Height Adjust the head restraint so that its center isapproximately at eye level.
Distance
Adjust the distance so that the head restraint isas close as possible to the back of the head.
Adjust the head restraint via the backrest tilt as
needed.

information WARNING
A missing protective effect due to re~
moved or not correctly adjusted head restraints
can cause injuries in the head and neck area.
There is a risk of injury. Before driving, install
the head restraints on the occupied seats. En~
sure that the middle of the head restraint sup~
ports the back of the head approximately at
eye level. '
