BIRDVIEWTM
The joystick allows movement in the following
ways.
Keep tilting the joystick to continuously move
across the map in that direction.
&1Rotates the map clockwise.
&2Rotates the map counterclockwise.
&3Moves the cross pointer on the map upward.
&4Moves the cross pointer on the map down-
ward.
Once you start moving on the map, the cross
pointer appears.

Allows you to set system settings such as
language/measurement unit setting.
Basic operation
1. Highlight [System Settings] and push
<ENTER>.
2. Highlight the preferred adjustment item and
push<ENTER>.
3. Push<BACK>/<PREV>to return to the
previous screen. Push<MAP>to return to
the current location map screen.

.Language/Unit:“LANGUAGE AND UNIT SETTINGS”

“CLOCK SETTINGS” (page 8-10).Beep Setting:
Select to toggle the beep function between
on and off. The indicator light illuminates
when the beep function is set to on.
The beep that sounds when pushing and
holding a button or when a prohibited
operation is performed cannot be set to off.

.Hour:
Set the hour.
Adjust the hour by tilting the joystick in the
direction of [+] or [−].
.Minutes:
Set the minutes.
Adjust the minutes by tilting the joystick in
the direction of [+] or [−]..Auto Adjust:
The time currently set is reset to the GPS
time.
.Daylight Saving Time:
Select to toggle the daylight saving time
setting between on and off. The indicator
light illuminates when the daylight saving
time setting is set to on.
