2. Getting started
Available setting items
Setting item Action
[Audio Volume] Adjusts the volume level of theaudio system.
[Guidance Vo-
lume] Adjusts the volume level of the
guidance voice and the voice
recognition system voice re-
sponses.
[Ringtone] Adjusts the volume level of the ringtone of incoming calls.
[Incoming Call] Adjusts the incoming call vo- lume.
[Outgoing Call] Adjusts the outgoing call vo- lume.
[NissanConnect
Svcs.] Adjusts the volume level of
“text-to-speech” for text mes-
saging.
[Button Beeps] Turns on/off the button beep sound and alarm for a prohib-
ited operations.
[Guidance Voice] Turns on/off the voice gui- dance.
LANGUAGE AND UNIT SETTINGS
This changes the display language and measure-
ment unit used in the system.
1. Touch [Settings] on the Launch Bar.
2. Touch [Language & Units].

[Select Lan-
guage]Selects the system language.
The language setting is applied
to the touch screen display,
voice announcements, the
voice recognition system.
It can also be applied to the
vehicle information display.
[Select Units] Selects the system unit. The unit setting can also be applied
to the information vehicle dis-
play.
INFO:
Do not change the position of the ignition switch
while changing the language.
If the selected language is also supported by the
vehicle information display, a confirmation mes-
sage asking if you would like to also change the
language for the vehicle information display is
displayed. Select [Yes] to change the language on the vehicle information display.
CLOCK SETTINGS
Clock settings of the system can be changed.
1. Touch [Settings] on the Launch Bar.
2. Touch [Clock].
Available setting items
Setting item Action
[On-screen
Clock]
Sets the clock display on/off.
When this item is on, the clock
display appears.
[Clock Format
(24h)] Turns on/off the 24-hour display
mode. When turned off, the
clock is set to the 12-hour
mode.
[Offset (hour)] Adjusts the offset value (hour).
[Offset (min)] Adjusts the offset value (min- utes) .
[Daylight Sav-
ings Time] Turns on/off the daylight saving
time setting.
[Time Zone] Select an appropriate time zone from the list. When selecting
[Auto], the system selects the
time zone automatically.

5. Information
Arrow view:
The next turn and the distance to the next turn are
displayed on the vehicle information display. A
countdown bar is shown in the arrow. The bar
gets smaller as you get closet to the next turn.
City view:
A turn direction arrow with an icon indicating
your current route location is displayed. A
countdown bar will be shown on the left side of
the vehicle information display. The bar gets
smaller as you get closer to the next turn.Navigation settings:
The navigation related display settings can be
changed.
1. Select
using
<>/<>and push
<OK>. A menu will display.
2. Using <
>/<> , select [Customize
Display] and then select [Navigation Set-
tings].
3. Select the preferred item using <
>/<>.
Available items Action
[Alerts] When this item is turned on,
the view of the turning point
with an alarm sound will
interrupt the displays other
than navigation screen
when the vehicle ap-
proaches the guide point.
[View
Mode] [Arrow] When this mode is se-
lected, the Arrow view will
be displayed on the vehicle
information display.
[City] When this mode is se- lected, the view on the
vehicle information display
will switch from the Arrow
view to the City view as the
vehicle approaches a guide
point.
4. Push<OK>to turn on or off the [Alerts]
setting or to toggle the view mode between
[Arrow] or [City].

Editing stored home and location
1. Touch [Settings] on the Launch Bar.
2. Touch [Navigation] and touch [Address Book].

used with the voice recognition system.
[Icon] Selects an icon for the entry.
[Sound] Sets the type of the alarm that sounds when the vehicle
approaches the location.
[Direction] Sets the alarm to sound when approaching from a specific
direction.
[Distance] Sets the alarm to sound when reaching a specific distance to
the location.
[Phone No.] Registers a phone number of the location.
[Group] Registers a group of the entry.
[Entry Numbers] Registers an entry number for the location.
[Move Location] Adjusts the stored location information.
[Delete] Deletes the stored location information.
[OK] Confirms and saves the edited stored location information.
*: When home location has not been stored, [Home Location (None)] is displayed and a home location can be stored from the menu.
Editing stored route
1. Touch [Settings] on the Launch Bar.
2. Touch [Navigation] and touch [Address
Book].
3. Touch [Stored Routes].
4. Touch the preferred stored route from the list. Available setting items
. [Rename]:
Changes the stored route name.
. [Replace]:
Overwrites the stored tracked route to the
current tracked route. .
[Delete]:
Deletes the stored route.
. [OK]:
Applies the edited settings.
