Door Trim
REMOVAL Ð Door trim
Front door trim
V1Remove inside handle escutcheon.
V2Remove power window switch, then disconnect the connector.
V3Remove door armrest.
V4Remove screw securing pull handle and remove pull handle.
V5Remove bolt, screw and clip securing door finisher.
V6Lift out door finisher.
Rear door trim
V7Remove inside handle escutcheon.
V8Remove screws securing door handle and remove door handle.
V9Lift out door finisher, then disconnect power window switch connector.

Nickel Metal Hydride Battery Replacement
CONSULT-II contains a nickel metal hydride battery. When replacing the battery obey the following:
WARNING:
Replace the nickel metal hydride battery with Genuine CONSULT-II battery only. Use of another bat-
tery may present a risk of fire or explosion. The battery may present a fire or chemical burn hazard
if mistreated. Do not recharge, disassemble of dispose of in fire.
Keep the battery out of reach of children and discard used battery conforming to the local regula-
tions.
