position, themonitor displayshowsarearward view
from thevehicle.
The system isdesigned asan aid tothe driver in
situations suchasslot parking orparallel parking.

depending onthe models.
WARNING:
. The Rearview Monitorisaconvenience butit
is not asubstitute tocheck behind the
vehicle whenbacking up.The driver is
always responsible forsafety during parking
and other manoeuvres.
. Objects viewedinthe Rearview Monitor
differ fromactual distance becauseawide-
angle lensisused. Objects inthe Rearview
Monitor willappear visually opposite like
ones viewed inthe inside andoutside
mirrors.
. Make surethattheback doorissecurely
closed whenbacking up.
. Underneath thebumper andthecorner
areas ofthe bumper cannotbeviewed on
the Rearview Monitorbecause ofits mon-
itoring rangelimitation.
. Donot putanything onthe Rearview cam-
era.
. The Rearview cameraisinstalled abovethe
license plate.
. When washing thevehicle withhigh-pres-
sure water, besure nottospray itaround the
camera. Otherwise, watermayenter the
camera unitcausing watercondensation on
the lens, amalfunction, fireoran electric shock.
. Donot strike thecamera. Itis aprecision
instrument. Otherwise,itmay malfunction or
cause damage resulting inafire oran
electric shock.
CAUTION:
Do not scratch thecamera lenswhen cleaning

1. Push theENTER/SETTING buttonwhilethe
Rearview Monitorscreenisdisplayed. Eachtime
the ENTER/SETTING buttonispushed, thenext
setting itemisselected.
2. Turn theTUNE´FOLDER controlknobtoadjust the
setting ofthe item.
3. Push theENTER/SETTING buttontocomplete
the setting adjustment.
4. Push ENTER/SETTING buttonagaintoselect the
next setting item.
Setting adjustment modewillend ifthe ENTER/
SETTING buttonispushed whilethelast setting item
is selected, ifthe BACK button ispushed orifthe
