CAUTION:
. Donot operate thewasher continuously for
longer than30seconds.
. Donot operate thewasher ifthe window
washer fluidreservoir isempty.
. Ifthe wiper operation isinterrupted bysnow
or ice, thewiper maystop moving toprotect
its motor. Ifthis occurs, turnthewiper switch
to the ªOFFº position andremove thesnow
or ice onand around thewiper arms.In
approximately 1minute, turntheswitch on
again tooperate thewiper.

open fuse.
NO TE:
If the extended storagefuseswitch malfunc-
tions, orifthe fuse isopen, itis not necessary to
replace theswitch. Inthis case, remove the
extended storagefuseswitch andreplace itwith
a new fuse ofthe same rating.
How toremove theextended storagefuse
switch:

1. To remove theextended storagefuseswitch, be
sure theignition switchisin the ªOFFº orªLOCKº
position.
2. Besure theheadlight switchisin the ªOFFº
position.
3. Remove thefuse boxcover.
4. Pinch thestorage fuseswitch andpullitin the
direction illustrated.

ment without removing theheadlight assembly.
CAUTION:

bulb. Thebulb maybreak ifthe glass envelope is
scratched orthe bulb is
dropped.
