the sunroof beforeopening.
. Do not place anyheavy objects onthe
sunroof orsurrounding area.

The sunroof operates whentheignition switchisin the
ªONº position.
Sunshade

The sunshade willopen automatically whenthe
sunroof isopened. Thesunshade needstobe closed
manually bysliding it.

Auto-reverse function

There isasmall distance justbefore theclosed
position whichcannot bedetected. Makesure
that allpassengers havetheirhands, etc.inside
the vehicle beforeclosing thesunroof.
The auto-reverse functionenablesthesunroof to
automatically reversewhensomething iscaught in
the sunroof asitis closing. Whenthecontrol unit
detects anobstacle, thesunroof willopen immediately .
If the sunroof cannotbeclosed automatically whenthe
auto reverse function activates duetoamalfunction,
push andhold theCLOSE side

switch. Depending
onthe environment ordriving conditions,
the auto-reverse functionmayactivate ifan impact or
load similar tosomething beingcaught inthe sunroof
occurs.
If sunroof doesnotoperate

If the sunroof doesnotoperate properly,perform the
following procedure toinitialize thesunroof operation
system.
1. Ifthe sunroof isopen, closeitfully byrepeatedly
pushing theCLOSE side

2. Push andhold theCLOSE side

switch totilt the sunroof up.
3. Release thesunroof switchafterthesunroof
moves slightly upand down.
4. Push andhold theOPEN side

switch tofully tiltthe sunroof down.
5. Check ifthe sunroof switchoperates normally.
If the sunroof doesnotoperate properly afterperform-
ing the procedure above,haveyourvehicle checked by
a NISSAN dealer.
