player istoo high. Remove theCD bypushing the
EJECT button, andafter ashort timereinsert theCD.
The CDcan beplayed whenthetemperature ofthe
player returns tonormal.
WARNING:
Do not adjust theaudio system whiledriving.
The audio system operates whentheignition switchis
in the ªACCº orªONº position. Ifyou want tolisten to
the radio orCD while theengine isnot running, turn
the ignition switchtothe ªACCº position. Donot use
for anextended periodoftime withtheengine
stopped.

Check ifthere iscondensation insidetheplayer, andifthere is,wait until thecondensation isgone (about 1hour) before
using theplayer.
If there isatemperature increaseerror,theplayer willplay correctly afteritreturns tothe normal temperature.
If there isamixture ofmusic CDfiles (CD-DA data)andcompressed audiofilesonaCD, only themusic CDfiles (CD-DA
data) willbeplayed.
Files withextensions otherthanª.MP3 (.mp3)º orª.WMA (.wma)º cannotbeplayed. Inaddition, thecharacter codesand

P oor sound quality
Checkifthe disc isscratched ordirty .
It takes arelatively longtimebefore themusic
starts playing. If
there aremany folder orfile levels onthe disc orUSB device, sometimemayberequired beforethemusic starts
playing.
Music cutsofforskips The
writing software andhardware combination mightnotmatch, orthe writing speed, writingdepth,writing width,etc.,
might notmatch thespecifications. Try using theslowest writingspeed.
Skipping withhigh bitrate files Skippingmayoccur withlarge quantities ofdata, suchasfor high bitrate data.
Move immediately tothe next song when playing. If
an unsupported compressedaudiofilehas been given asupported extensionlike.MP3, orwhen playisprohibited by
copyright protection, theplayer willskip tothe next song.
The songs donot play back inthe desired order.The
playback orderisthe order inwhich thefiles were written bythe writing software, sothe files might notplay inthe
desired order.

Connecting iPod:

console. Openthelidand connect theiPod cable to
the USB connector. Thebattery ofthe iPod ischarged
while theconnection tothe vehicle.
Depending onthe version ofthe iPod,the display on
the iPod shows aNISSAN orAccessory Attached
screen whentheconnection iscompleted. Whenthe
iP od isconnected tothe vehicle, theiPod music library
can only beoperated bythe vehicle audiocontrols.
