Radio DataSystem (RDS)operation (if
equipped) :

Alternative Frequency(AF)mode
The AFmode operates inthe FM (radio) mode.

conditions forthe currently tuned-instation.
RDS functions

If TA button ispushed duringatraffic announcement,
the traffic announcement interruptmodeiscancelled.
The TA mode returns tothe standby modeandthe
audio unitreturns tothe previous source.

play thepreferred track.
Seek/track button:

Push andhold theSeek/track buttontofast forward or
rewind through thetrack. When thebutton isreleased, the
track willplay atnormal playing speed.
T rack up/down:
Pushing theSeek/track buttononce,thetrack willskip
forward tothe next track orbackward tothe beginning
of the current track.PushtheSeek/track buttonmore
than once toskip through thetracks.
Folder browsing:

If the recorded mediacontains folderswithmusic files,
pushing theSeek/track buttonwillplay insequence
the tracks ofeach folder.
T o select apreferred folder:
1. Push theMENU/ENTER dialorthe Back button
and alist oftracks inthe current folderis
displayed.
2. Push theBack button.
3. Turn theMENU/ENTER dialforthe preferred
folder.
4. Push theMENU/ENTER dialtoaccess thefolder.
Push theMENU/ENTER dialagain tostart playing
the first track orturn theMENU/ENTER dial,and
push theMENU/ENTER dialtoselect another
track.
If the current selected foldercontains subfolders, push
the MENU/ENTER dial,anew screen withalist ofsub
folders willbedisplayed. Turn theMENU/ENTER dial
for the sub folder thenpush theMENU/ENTER dialto
select. Selecttheroot folder itemwhen songs are
recorded additionally inthe root folder.
T o return tothe previous folderscreen, pushtheBack
button.
RPT button:

Push theRPT button andthecurrent trackwillbe
played continuously .
MIX button:

While aCD with recorded musicinformation tags(CD-
text/ID3-text tags)isbeing played, thetitle ofthe
played trackisdisplayed whenavailable.
When theDISP button ispushed repeatedly ,further
information aboutthetrack canbedisplayed along
with thetrack titleasfollows:
T rack time?Artist name ?Album title?Track time
T rack details:
Pushing andholding theDISP button willturn the
display intoadetailed overview.Push theBack button
to return tothe previous screen.
CD eject button:
GUID-2201 8305-9BAB- 4201-B6FC-C08EB94AEAE0
When theCD eject button ispushed whiletheignition
switch isplaced inthe ªONº orªACCº position, theCD
will beejected.
If aCD isejected bypushing theCD eject button, and
it is not taken outfrom theloading slotwithin 20
seconds, theCD willautomatically bereloaded tothe
slot toprotect theCD.
