The back doorcanbeset toopen toaspecific height
by performing thefollowing:
1. Open theback doorusing therequest switchor
the Intelligent Key .
2. Pull theback doordown tothe desired position
and hold theback door(theback doorwillhave
some resistance whenbeing manually adjusted) .
3. While holding theback doorinposition, pressand
hold theback doorswitch

beeps areheard.
The back doorwillopen tothe selected position
setting. To change theposition ofthe back door,
repeat steps1-3forsetting theposition ofthe back
door.
CAUTION:
Do not setthe height ofthe back doorbelow
approximately 1/3ofthe way tothe floor using
garage mode.Evenifyou setthe height below
approximately 1/3ofthe way tothe floor, the
height willautomatically beset toapproximately
1/3 ofthe way tothe floor.

WARNING:
. Fuel isextremely flammable andhighly
explosive undercertain conditions. You
could beburned orseriously injuredifit is
misused ormishandled. Alwaysstopthe
engine anddonot smoke orallow open

refueling.
. Fuel maybeunder pressure. Turn thecap a
half ofaturn, andwait forany ªhissingº
sound tostop toprevent fuelfrom spraying
out and possibly causingpersonal injury.
Then remove thecap.
. Use only anoriginal equipment typefuel
filler capasareplacement. Ithas abuilt-in
safety valveneeded forproper operation of
the fuel system andemission controlsys-
tem. Anincorrect capcanresult inaserious
malfunction andpossible injury.

Gear ShiftIndicator appearsinthe vehicle information
display whenthedriver should shiftintoahigher or
lower gearasindicated bythe upordown arrow.
The useofGear ShiftIndicator willhelp toreduce fuel
consumption.
When theuparrow appears, upshifting isrecom-
mended. Whenthedown arrow appears, downshifting
is recommended.
CAUTION:
Gear ShiftIndicator helpstoreduce fuelcon-
sumption. Itdoes notrecommend theappro-
priate gearshiftforalldriving situations. Ina
certain situations, onlythedriver canselect the correct
gear(forexample, whenovertaking,
driving upasteep gradient ortowing atrailer) .

The Stop/Start SystemorIdling StopSystem is
designed toprevent unnecessary fuelconsumption,
exhaust emissions, andnoise during ajourney:
. When youstop thevehicle withthebrake pedal
depressed (CVT)orwith theshift lever inªNº
(Neutral) andclutch pedalreleased (MT),the
engine isturned offautomatically .
. When yourelease thebrake pedal(CVT) orpush
the clutch pedal(MT),the engine isautomatically
turned on.
CAUTION:
At the end ofthe journey theengine mustbe
stopped andignition turnedoff.Lock thevehicle
as normal. Turning theignition switchOFFwill
shut down allelectrical systems.Failuretodo
this may result inaflat battery.
NO TE:
For model withStop/Start SystemorIdling Stop
System, usethespecial batterythatisenhanced
in regard tothe charge-discharge capacityand
life performance. Avoidusinganon-special
battery forthe Stop/Start SystemorIdling Stop
System, asthis may cause earlydeterioration of
the battery oramalfunction ofthe Stop/Start
System orIdling StopSystem. Forthebattery, it
is recommended touse Genuine NISSANparts.

The Stop/Start SystemorIdling StopSystem
will notactivate underthefollowing conditions:
