Before starting onsloping roadswhentowing atrailer,
be sure toread thefollowing toprevent thevehicle
from moving backward unintentionally .
1. Pull and hold theparking brakeswitch while

distance.

grille, theoutside mirrorsandabove therear
license plate.Donot putanything onthe
cameras.
. When washing thevehicle withhigh-pres-
sure water, besure nottospray itaround the
cameras. Otherwise, watermayenter the
camera unitcausing watercondensation on
the lens, amalfunction, fireoran electric
shock.
. Donot strike thecameras. Theyarepreci-
sion instruments. Doingsocould cause a
malfunction orcause damage resulting ina
fire oran electric shock.

Clean thecamera lenswith softcloth tokeep it
free from dirt,snow, etc.Do not scratch thelens

eye view aregreatly affected bythe number
of occupants, fuellevel, vehicle position,
road condition androad grade.
. Ifthe tires arereplaced withdifferent sized
tires, thepredictive courselineand the
bird's-eye viewmaybedisplayed incorrectly.
. When driving thevehicle upahill, objects
viewed inthe monitor arefurther thanthey
appear. Whendriving thevehicle downahill,
objects viewedinthe monitor arecloser
than theyappear.
. Use themirrors oractually looktoproperly
judge distances toother objects.
. The vehicle widthandpredictive courselines
are wider thantheactual widthandcourse.
