sure theignition switchisin the ªOFFº orªLOCKº
position.
2. Besure theheadlight switchisin the ªOFFº
position.

Halogen headlight bulb

The halogen headlight isasemi-sealed beamtype
which usesreplaceable headlight(halogen) bulbs.
They canbereplaced frominside theengine compart-
ment without removing theheadlight assembly.
CAUTION:
High-pressure halogengasissealed insidethe
bulb. Thebulb maybreak ifthe glass envelope is
scratched orthe bulb isdropped. Low-beam:

1. Disconnect thebattery negative cable.
2. Disconnect theelectrical connector

the rear endofthe bulb.
3. Remove theheadlight bulb

by turning it
counter clockwise. Donot shake orrotate the
bulb when removing it.
4. Install thenew bulb inthe reverse orderof
removal.
