button located onthe steering wheel.After
the tone sounds, speakacommand.
The command givenispicked upbythe microphone,
and voice feedback isgiven when thecommand is
accepted.
. Ifyou need tohear theavailable commands forthe
current menuagain, sayªHelpº andthesystem will
repeat them.
. Ifacommand isnot recognized, thesystem
announces, ªCommandnotrecognized. Please
try again.º Makesurethecommand issaid exactly
as prompted bythe system andrepeat the
command inaclear voice.
. Ifyou want togo back tothe previous command,
you can sayªGo backº orªCorrectionº anytime
the system iswaiting foraresponse.
. You can cancel acommand whenthesystem is
waiting foraresponse bysaying, ªCancelº or
ªQuit.º Thesystem announces ªCancelºandends
the VRsession. You can also push andhold the
button onthe steering wheelfor5seconds
at any time toend theVRsession. Whenever the
VR session iscancelled, adouble beepisplayed
to indicate youhave exited thesystem.
. Ifyou want toadjust thevolume ofthe voice
feedback, pushthe(

+) button on
the steering wheelwhilebeing provided with
feedback. You can also usetheradio volume

T o get thebest performance outofthe voice
recognition system,observe thefollowing:
. Keep theinterior ofthe vehicle asquiet as
possible. Closethewindows toeliminate sur-
rounding noises(trafficnoises, vibration sounds,
etc.) ,which mayprevent thesystem fromrecog-
nizing voicecommands correctly.
. Wait until thetone sounds beforespeaking a
command. Otherwise, thecommand willnot be
received properly.
. Start speaking acommand within5seconds after
the tone sounds.
. Speak inanatural voicewithout pausing between
words.

Edit Custom Messages
Select toset acustom message thatwillbe

phone number whilethephone isconnected to
the system. Threecustom messages canbe
set. Custom messages canonly beset while
the vehicle isstationary .

Auto Reply
Select toturn onoroff the Auto Reply function.
When enabled, thevehicle willautomatically
send apredefined textmessage tothe sender
when atext message isreceived whiledriving.
