1. Be sure theignition switchisin the ªOFFº
position.
2. Besure theheadlight switchisin the ªOFFº
position.
3. Open theglove boxand unlock thedamper

4. Hold theglove boxlidso that thedistance
between theupper endofthe lidand the
dashboard isabout 5cm (2in),and then pulloff
the hinges

located onthe underside ofthe lid.
5. Unlock theleftand right stoppers

and remove
the glove boxlid.
6. Locate thefuse thatneeds tobe replaced.
7. Remove thefuse using thefuse puller.

8. Ifthe fuse isopen

, replace itwith anew fuse

If the new fuse alsoopens, afterinstalling, havethe
electrical systemchecked, andifnecessary repaired,
by aNISSAN dealer.

T o reduce batterydrain,theextended storagefuse
switch comes fromthefactory switched off.Prior to
delivery ofyour vehicle, theswitch ispushed in
(switched on)and should always remainon.
If the extended storagefuseswitch isnot pushed in
(switched on),the ªShipping ModeOnPush Storage
Fuseº warning mayappear inthe vehicle information
display .See ªVehicle information displaywarnings and
indicatorsº (P.2-28) .
If any electrical equipment doesnotoperate, remove
the extended storagefuseswitch andpush itin again.
NO TE:
If the extended storagefuseswitch malfunc-
tions, seeaNISSAN dealer.
