The system operates whentheignition switchisin the
ªONº orªACCº position. PushtheMEDIA button
repeatedly orpush theiPod MENU buttontoswitch to
the iPod mode.
If the system hasbeen turned offwhile theiPod was playing,
pushing thePower/VOL dialwillstart theiPod.
If another audiosource isplaying andtheiPod is
connected, pushingtheiPod MENU buttonorthe
MEDIA buttonrepeatedly willchange tothe iPod
mode.
When theiPod MENU buttonispushed whiletheiPod
is connected, theinterface foriPod operation isshown
on the audio display .The items onthe menu listcan be
scrolled byturning theTUNE´FOLDER dialwhile the
iP od isoperating. To select anitem, push ENTER/
SETTING button.Itemsinthe iPod menu appear on

For FMand DAB (ifequipped) ,touch theª7-12º
key todisplay the7-12 memory keys.
3. The channel indicator willthen come onand the

mined bythe DAB station.
EAS inEAS test(displayed onthe screen asaPTY
name) isan abbreviation ofEmergency AlertSystem.
Occasionally ,in areas ofpoor DAB signal strength, the
full station nameinthe DAB Listand DAB mainscreen
might bedistorted. Inthis situation itmay stillbe
possible tolisten tothe particular radiostation, ata
reduced levelofsound quality,but this isnot always
possible. Thismayalso beshown inthe vehicle
information display.
CD player operation

Loading disc:

Insert aCD into theslot with thelabel sidefacing up.
The CDwillbeguided automatically intotheslot and
will start playing. Ifthe radio isalready playing, itwill
automatically turnoff,and theCD willstart playing.
CAUTION:
Do not force thecompact discintotheslot. This
could damage theplayer.

while theCD isbeing played, thenext track orthe

Push thebutton several timestoskip through the
tracks onthe CD. Ifthe last track onaCD isskipped,
the first track onthe disc willplay .If the last track ina
folder ofan MP3 CDisskipped, thefirst track ofthe
next folder willplay.
