PANORAMIC SUNROOF
This sunroof is a panoramic assembly
which provides maximum brightness
and visibility in the passenger com-
partment.
It consists of two parts:
- a fi xed rear part,
- a moving front part.
Each part has an independent
manual shutter.
The sunroof is controlled electrically
by a dial with 9 opening positions. Operation

To open: turn the dial to the left
(nine possible settings).
Once the roof is open, the front
shutter cannot be closed.

To close: return the control to the
initial position "O" . Reinitialisation
Following reconnection of the bat-
tery, in the event of a malfunction or
in the event of unwanted opening of
the roof on closing, the safety auto-
reverse must be reinitialised:
- place the dial in the fully closed
position (initial position "O" ),
- press the dial immediately,
- continue to press until the roof is fully closed.
Always remove the ignition
key when leaving the vehicle,
even for a short time.
In the event of contact during operation
of the roof, the movement of the roof
must be reversed. To do this, operate
the control concerned.
When the driver operates the roof
control, he must ensure that no one
is preventing the roof from closing
correctly.
The driver must ensure that the
passengers use the sunroof correctly.
Be aware of children when operating
the roof.
Check that the slides are clean
to ensure that the sunroof slides
correctly.

while closing, it partially opens
again.
You can close the sunroof
using the remote control
when locking (refer to the
corresponding chapter).

ANTI-LOCK BRAKING SYSTEM (ABS) AND ELECTRONIC BRAKE FORCE DISTRIBUTION (EBFD)
The ABS, in conjunction with the
electronic brake force distribution,
increases the stability and manoeu-
vrability of your vehicle on braking,
in particular on poor or slippery road
surfaces.

Note: when changing wheels (tyres
and rims), make sure that these are
approved.
The anti-lock braking system comes
into operation automatically when
there is a risk of wheel lock.
When this warning light
comes on, accompanied by
a buzzer and a message, it
indicates that there is a mal-
function of the ABS, which can cause
a loss of control of the vehicle when
braking.
When this warning light
comes on, connected to the

STOP and ABS warning
lights, accompanied by a
buzzer and a message, it indicates
that there is a malfunction of the
electronic brake force distribution,
which can cause a loss of control of
the vehicle when braking. Stop immediately.
In both cases, consult a PEUGEOT
dealer.
EMERGENCY BRAKING ASSISTANCE SYSTEM
In an emergency, this system ena-
bles the optimum braking pressure to
be reached more quickly, thus redu-
cing the stopping distance.
It is triggered by the speed at which
the brake pedal is activated.
The effect of this is a reduction in the
resistance of the pedal and an in-
crease in braking effi ciency.
When braking in an emergency,
press fi rmly without releasing the
pressure.
Normal operation of the ABS
may make itself felt by slight
vibrations of the brake pedal.

In emergency braking,
press very fi rmly without
releasing the pressure.

Seat belt not fastened warning If the driver and/or the
front passenger has
not fastened his seat
belt, the corresponding
warning light comes
on when the ignition is on, then, at a
speed above 12 mph (20 km/h), this
is accompanied by an audible signal
the volume of which increases (for ap-
proximately two minutes) and a mes-
sage on the multifunction display.

Note: a bag or an animal placed on
the front passenger seat may trigger
lighting of the warning light.
Seat belt unfastened warning
If the driver and/or one
of the passengers has
unfastened his seat
belt, the corresponding
warning light comes on
when the engine is running, then, at a
speed above 12 mph (20 km/h), this
is accompanied by an audible signal
the volume of which increases (for ap-
proximately two minutes) and a mes-
sage on the multifunction display. Rear seat belts
The rear seats are fi tted with two
three-point inertia reel seat belts.
The retaining of the rear seat belt
buckle by the sliding block makes
folding down or complete folding of
the seats easier.
Fastening

 Pull the strap, then insert the
buckle in the stalk.

 Check that the seat belt is
fastened correctly by pulling the
strap.
Unfastening

 Press the red button on the
stalk.
Version with colour display

sengers has not fastened (or has
unfastened) his seat belt, a message
appears on the multifunction display.
