s t e e l s p a r e w h e e l , w h e n i t t i n g i t , i t i s
normal t o n o t i c e t h a t t h e b o l t w a s h -
e r s d o n o t c o m e i n t o c o n t a c t w i t h t h e
r i m . T h e s p a r e w h e e l i s s e c u r e d b y
the cone shape of each bolt. Wheel anti-theft bolts
I f y o u r w h e e l s a r e i t t e d w i t h a n t i - t h e f t
b o l t s ( o n e p e r w h e e l ) , t h e c h r o m e -
plated trim cap and then the plastic
c o v e r o n t h e w h e e l m u s t b e r e m o v e d ,
using the
yellow tool (located in the
b o x i x e d t o t h e l e f t - h a n d s i d e o f t h e
b o o t ) , b e f o r e s l a c k e n i n g t h e b o l t u s -
ing the anti-theft socket (located in
t h e g l o v e b o x ) a n d t h e w h e e l b r a c e ,
located in the boot rear right inner
panel.
Note: take a careful note of the code
number engraved on the head of the
a n t i - t h e f t s o c k e t . T h i s w i l l e n a b l e y o u
to obtain a duplicate anti-theft socket
from a PEUGEOT dealer.
Fitting snow tyres

o n s t e e l r i m s o n t o y o u r v e h i c l e , i t i s
essential
that you use special bolts
available from your PEUGEOT dealer.
Bolt covers
A l l o y w h e e l b o l t s a r e c o v e r e d b y
chrome trims.
U s e t h e y e l l o w t o o l 4 to remove the
trims before slackening the bolts.
Tool 4 is located on the rear right
inner panel of the boot. 95
